"The business owner name is Johnny Polite. He blew off the roofs. Removed light-blocking limbs, opened up space everywhere skillfully. A huge job, I look around and wonder why I did not do this until now. My yard and shrubs were a tangled, overgrown mess. Now you can see what was good about it. Very reasonable prices for a fast, efficient Pro. Excellent attitude. He did all I asked or made great suggestions. I wish I would shot before and afters."

Customers say: Quick response

"I have a large yard which had been needing lots of attention for a long time. Richard, Michelle and Nick spent days here getting rid of leaves, mowing, cutting fallen branches, pruning, shaping and fixing the sprinkler system. They did a superior job, worked extremely hard, and are very pleasant professional people who are easy to get along with. My yard looks like it belongs to a different house. Their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again. I whole heartily recommend them."

"Dave is awesome. He is punctual. He communicates well and keeps us updated. He did an excellent job on our lawn, plus the extra jobs, I asked to be done. Even when it began to rain, he continued to work. When the weather became worse, he left for a bit. He then returned and finished our yard a couple of hours later, when the worst of the weather had cleared. I highly recommend this company for your yard care."

"I told them exactly what I wanted and when and they did it exactly how I wanted it. Mowed my lawn as well as edge and trimmed it and then re-stoned my bush bedding. Excellent work. Best part was once we agreed to when the work was going to be done, they did it exactly when they said and no need to call ahead or a day prior. Would recommend their services."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Household products such as paints, cleaners, oils, and batteries are considered hazardous and should not be disposed of with regular household waste. Instead, look for local household hazardous waste collection facilities where you can safely dispose of these items without harming the environment or human health.

Lead removal can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the work needed, particularly if the lead is widespread and in hard-to-reach areas.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.
