We are so pleased that we went with Richard, Michelle and the team from Tradewinds! Not only were they the fairest price quote for my sod install, but they accommodated the installation of an irrigation system immediately as well. They were very professional and even entertained the non-stop questions and musings of our 3 y/o without any sign of irritation or loss of patience. I even commented to them that I'd have to pay them extra for "babysitting". Highly. Highly, Highly recommend!

My decision to go with Tradewinds was an excellent choice. Richard sent two of his hardest working team members to plant a 35 gallon oak tree and lay sod in the front yard. All the work was completed to perfection and just as promised. Also, Tradewinds gave me by far the most reasonable quote for the work. I highly recommend Tradewinds Home Services.

I've been in the field of business for all of my adult life. I am 74 yrs old. I owned my a retail business for 20 years. The folks at Tradewinds offer an exceptional service but above that they are exceptionally honest and fair. I was prepared to pay for new installation. After their review and analysis they said my system was fine. They showed some some ways to better manage my system and save on water bills. Dealing with them is like dealing with your best friend.

Richard Platt is procuring accounts for his 18-year-old son and friend. A start-up for him. The young men are not experienced enough or thorough enough for Sun City Community Standards. They did not trim the landscape beds that have a metal edging, blow away the clippings from walkways and driveway, walked in the flower bed, did not fully apply mulch (bare spots), damaged hardscape and did not tell the homeowner, did not spread all the mulch (left 2 bags behind air-conditioning unit) and did not tell homeowner anything. Non- communicative, unreceptive to homeowner wishes, accepts any instruction as criticism claiming rudeness. At no time did the young man approach us to clarify anything. He went to his parents and complained. Not ready for prime time.

He is friendly but the sprinkler does not come on after they left. He said that it is fix but when I try it on it does not work. He touched my sod and now it is dead.

"Totally untrue. Homeowner does not know how to run system after being showed? I find these random poor reviews as humorous as the clients that right them. We have been and still are top notch performers in our industry for the past 30 years. I would not have been able to retire at 48 years of age being unsuccessful and providing poor service."

Richard and Nick are true professionals-they were able to diagnose a complex problem with our home irrigation system and effect repairs with speed and accuracy. The repairs required significant digging and reconfiguration of the existing poorly installed system. Not being the first owner of the house location of buried equipment required detective work on their part. Not something most contractors could have accomplished so quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended!

I have a large yard which had been needing lots of attention for a long time. Richard, Michelle and Nick spent days here getting rid of leaves, mowing, cutting fallen branches, pruning, shaping and fixing the sprinkler system. They did a superior job, worked extremely hard, and are very pleasant professional people who are easy to get along with. My yard looks like it belongs to a different house. Their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again. I whole heartily recommend them.

Richard Nick and Michelle were very accomedating,friendly and knowledgeable about the sprinkler installation that I wanted. It was installed the way that I wanted. They showed up each day and worked through out every day to complete the project in a very timely manner. I would definiely use them again for any additional work. The other pro,s that were suggested never replied to my request. Richard has a good work ethic as compared to the other losers.

Richard seems to share my business approach. Build a lasting relationship of trust and you will keep your customers through thick and thin. On the other hand, a policy of "making a fast buck" at the expense of losing your customer might just land you in the White House, and your customers in the Poor House. I like Richard and plan to do more business with him. John D in Beaufort, SC Replacing my lawn sprinkler system's control box: Richard recommended that rather than replace it, the most economical move was to let him reset the controls, rather than replace it. It seems to be working much better now.
