"First let me say that I called Herb on a Sunday, it was about 5 degrees outside (felt like 20 below) and it was Valentines day.  He told me he could get here in a couple of hours and we were fine with that because we turned off the main water source to the house so further damage would be prevented. Then I realized we have forced hot water heat and when I called to tell him he said "I'll run to Home Depot and be right there because you can't go without heat in this weather."
Once he got here he figured out the location of the pipe that burst. He had to cut through a small portion of the wall and replace the pipe.
Herb is professional, fair, honest and very dependable. He didn't charge us for an "Emergency Call" which all of the big plumbing companies do. They charge $150 just to walk through the door. Herb's prices are fair and reasonable.
I would recommend Herb to anyone who needs work done in your home. He is a "Jack of all trades" and is well versed in many areas. I know if you hire him you won't be over charged, jerked around and there certainly won't be any "surprise" charges added to your bill. These are all things we have experienced with other contractors.

"Walter and Glen at Protect Your Home Group with ADT are the best people to talk to in terms of security alarm. Being a locksmith myself I know how important it is to deal with the right people. I referred a lot of customers to them and so far they are happy with their service. I myself got one for my house. Thank you for a consistent service and great deal."

Locksmiths questions, answered by experts

Always consider security a top priority in your home. Perform a safety inspection of your home. Look for broken locks and rusty deadbolts, and take an inventory of who has access to your keys.

Consider the locks on your shed, safe, and other household items. Professional locksmiths can help you determine the best safety and security options for your home and feel at ease.

When a locksmith comes to your home, ensure your safety by having the locksmith show identification and provide an itemized invoice that you can reference later.

Most door knobs can be removed with a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. If you don’t have either of those available, a paper clip or small pin can sometimes work, but the extra effort may not be worth a quick trip to the hardware store.

Rekeying door locks yourself costs a fraction of what you would expect to pay a locksmith. On average, it costs between $50 to $100 to hire a local locksmith to rekey your house, though labor costs may vary based on where you live. For a DIY solution, you can expect to spend $11 to $25 on a rekeying kit.

A keypad deadbolt, a lock requiring a code entered on a keypad entry, can be a convenient option for families with children coming in and out and needing access to the home. It can also offer an easy solution if you rent your home out, since you can easily change the code as needed. So, depending on your home entry’s needs, a keypad deadbolt may be worth the extra expense.

The easiest way to pick a lock is by using a titanium rake pick. This type of lock pick comes in a variety of shapes used to simulate different key configurations but generally has a tip with a bent design. Rake picks are the most beginner-friendly lockpicks and the simplest to learn how to use.
