"Josh was great from the start. Very responsive to my texts, emails and calls. He took the time to explain and show me exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He and his guys came here to dig out the driveway, lay down and compact the gravel. We also asked him to run a pipe under the driveway out to the side of where the driveway ends so that rainwater from the gutter wouldn't sit right in front of our garage door and freeze in the winter. He was able to do this without any issues. He came back a few days later to complete the job and lay down the asphalt. "James and his crew installed a beautiful professional grade new driveway at our 3-family condo. It makes our house stand out and allows for landscaping improvements throughout the yard. The edging and seal of the asphalt against the house foundation looks especially well-done. The driveway between our house and the neighbors is narrow and very difficult to work within but James and his crew handled it with ease. Paperwork was scarce with Public Hot Top. We initially went with them because the estimate of 1k lower than others. After some discussion they verbally committed to working within our budget which was several hundred dollars below the estimate. On paving day they pushed hard for 1k payment over initial estimate due to added material expense. Feel that they lowballed the estimate to win business - advise getting price guarantees in advance."

"Amazing work!  I have never had the experience of a contractor showing up for a job exactly on time, never mind 30minutes early as John's team did.  We called to have John come out to do an estimate on our crumbling asphalt driveway, and the estimate was completed in 24hours by John himself.  Once we determined that we would proceed with the driveway repave, he was able to schedule the job to be done within one week of accepting his invoice.  His team showed up thirty minutes early on the day of the work, and John himself was there several times during the day to supervise.  He answered all our questions thoroughly, and gave us a plan for how to care for the driveway over the next year (as we only repaved 2/3rds of the driveway, it will need to be sealed in the next year to make it one color/sealcoat). I highly recommend John and his team if you have a driveway repair.  "
