"About 2 months ago we had the techs from Diffley Drain Service out. At that time they ran a snake through the drain and pulled out a small root 75 feet down the line which at the time seemed to clear the backup which was manifesting itself in our basement utility sink. Thirty-three days later the problem manifested itself again and to their credit even though it was three days over the warranty period they came back out without any fuss. They snaked the drain again this time going out 105 feet without clearing anything. Now here is where things get a bit dodgy, rather than add a 2nd reel of cable onto the snake (or really even mentioning it) to enable them to snake further the tech tells my wife that they will need to install an external access point in the yard so they can snake further down the line and that will cost $3000. We say we'll think about it and explore other options. Once we watched some videos and educated ourselves about the matter we ended up hiring a different drain service. The new company we hired used 2 spools of snake to be able to go further down the line and cleared a bunch of roots 140 feet down the line. BUYER BEWARE with Diffley Drain Service they seem to only give you part of the story in order to seem credible. I will say that Diffley comes quickly and promptly which when you have sewer backup issues is a positive and they are initially reasonably priced but educate yourself about your problem or you will get taken advantage of."

The price was great too. This job was time sensitive and he made me a priority to get it done. For the bathroom tub drain unclog he was very professional and did a great job. My garbage disposal was leaking and I came home to a pool of water in my cabinet and on the floor. Lewis came out quickly to resolve the issue for me. Within a few days of my inquiry they came out to my house to take measurements and they brought samples to choose from. Installation was done within a few weeks after that. Took away the old countertops and sinks. They know what they're doing. One of the installers was actually the owner and they were prompt and professional and cleaned up well."
