Rich from NE, came over and checked out the roof. He noticed that some caulking along the edges had rotted away. He figured this was the problem because everything else appeared to be okay. He recaulked on the spot and just charged me for an hour for his visit.
A few days later it rained again and the leak was back. I contacted Rich and he came by the next day. He brought another guy with him and they looked a bit deeper. They discovered there was no ice and water protection where an addition joined the rest of the house. They came back the next day and installed the protection. It's been leak-free ever since.
