"We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our Sunesta Retractable Awning and the Sunesta â Sentryâ Retractable Sun Screen from Designer Awnings!! My wife and I spent 2 years deciding what to do with our back porch area, and we couldnâ t be more happy with our decision! Since the back of our house faces West, during the afternoon it would get so incredibly hot, the deck was almost unusable during this time. We needed something to block the sun, look beautiful, and meet our budget. "It all started out well after purchase of the initial Angie's list deal.  We promptly agreed on a date and a gentlemen came to measure and start the paperwork. Install date was set for 11/5/15. On 11/4, I was called about setting an install date.  My response was I already had one for the next day. Long story short, the company did not bother to tell me they had cancelled my appointment, they just acted like I never had one.  It was as though one side of the business did not know what the other side was doing. Since I made arrangements to be home on the 5th, I was not happy.  We finally settled on the 12th and the installation went smoothly enough.  However after completion, I noticed the installers had broken a piece of moulding in front of the patio door.  I know they realized they cracked it because they used clear caulk as a fix. I called the company and they said they would replace.  As of 11/30, the moulding still has not been replaced even though I was told the installer was picking up molding on 11/17.
I will say the person who came to measure and the lady who did the follow-up calling were professional. However, I can't say the same for the install side. The contact person was nice enough but he did not contact me to say the install was cancelled and to me it's taking way too long to replace the molding the installers broke.  I view it as a lack of integrity to cover up breaking the piece and not bothering to say anything to me.  The patio door is beautiful and I had planned to purchase a front door from them but have changed my mind.

"We first met with Chris and put together an outline for the work, we had paint available, Chris made sure the paint was a match to what was on the surrounding walls.  We then scheduled a day and time for the work to be done.  When his team came to the house they were professional and respectful of our property wearing shoe covers or even taking their shoes off when necessary.  They went straight to the task of their work at hand spackling and patching all the holes and scrap marks from our picture frames. Then to the painting, coating the wall with a smooth even layer making it a job well done.  When finished they packed up they gear and totally cleaned around the area they had just worked all in all we could not have been more pleased.

"The start of the job took longer than anticipated. The delivery of the windows took much longer then what was originally projected. The company was a month behind on their time of delivery. I was satisfied with the work done overall. Though there were two issues that needed to be addressed in relation to the job which I discovered after the work was completed. The problems were addressed but it took approximately two months for a return visit to correct them. The response time to correct problems with the job should have been much shorter."
