"We needed our heating/cooling ducts cleaned badly, I had smelled the mice droppings for years. Of course we didn't want to spend the money. Well, it is WELL WORTH the money, it's a completely fair price for the work done. Our house is not difficult and it still took four hours. I cannot recommend this company more highly - we had two guys out, Chris and Evan, and they were polite and got right to work. The pictures Evan showed me of the insides of the ducts before and after were something to see. My house feels so happy to have all of this debris and mice droppings out of its vents! The cleaner they use is not full of toxic chemicals, so the nice smell is not heavy and is already dissipating. Yes, hire this company and get it done right. We won't have to do this again for at least 5 years, and I'm just so happy to have these ducts cleaned so completely. Very efficient, very thorough."

"May 2025. Natalie is a prime example of what house cleaning should look like. She was very friendly, professional, and had an eye for detail that truly exceeded our expectations. Natalie did a wonderful job in our kitchen, the appliances were cleaned and neatly arranged, the bathrooms looked spotless, and vacuuming throughout the house was superb. We were very satisfied with her services and would definitely hire her again. We highly recommend Pristine clean service. Thank you, Natalie Marjorie & Etienne King"

"Josh called back right away and was pleasant on the phone. He came to the house at the time he said he would and removed our area rugs to clean at his facility. He then cleaned the wall-to-wall carpet in our home. He did a great job, was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. We will absolutely call when the carpets need to be cleaned in the future."

Small jobs welcome

"Gregg is amazing. The carpets I had him clean were in rough shape to say the least. I thought the stains would never come out. Seriously, they were rough. Gregg came in and got all the stains out and gave my carpets new life. I could not be happier with the end result. Gregg also clean the kitchen and bathroom. I stopped by and was amazed at how the fridge sparkled. Gregg is unbelievable! Highly recommend his services."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.

The best method for keeping your grout clean depends on the level of staining or discoloration. For light cleaning, use warm water and a stiff brush (specifically made for cleaning grout).

Tougher jobs call for a one-to-one solution of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray the area down, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then scrub with your brush. For even more cleaning power, add water to baking soda until it creates a paste and apply it before the vinegar. If the mess is too much, you can call a local tile and grout cleaner.

Whether you’re a renter or a buyer, you should clean a house when moving out. For renters, it’s usually written in the lease that a house must be cleaned before it’s vacated. If you’re unsure how thoroughly to clean the place, check with the landlord beforehand; otherwise, you may not receive your deposit back. When selling a house, a contractual agreement is often made with the realtor that the house is swept and that all personal belongings are removed before the previous owners move out.

Butcher block countertops are easy to clean. You can use basic household cleaning materials like soap and water. You can even use vinegar or lemon juice and salt. There aren’t many special precautions like other materials. For example, soap tends to streak stainless steel while acid-based cleaners can wear down quartz.

While the exact appearance of the filter will depend on your dishwasher brand, it often consists of a cylindrical or rectangular mesh or plastic component. The filter is located at the bottom of the dishwasher beneath the lower spray arm. It includes a combination of a coarse filter, which traps larger food particles, and a finer filter, which captures smaller debris. The filter assembly may be a single unit or a multi-part system that can be twisted or snapped out for cleaning.
