"We got an estimate from 4 roofers. Ashley was 2000.00 less than the next lower priced. We checked their insurance & bond certificates. We looked at jobs they had completed and were satisfied to use them. They arrived at 7AM as they said and completed the job in 1 day. The team workers were respectful and worked hard. They were very honest & pleasant. We scheduled our daughter's roof & it was done 2 weeks after ours. They were wonderful."

"Nate was very responsive.  He came out and looked at our deck before making recommendation of how to treat.  Additionally he helped us select the product to be applied.  We bought the restore product and had it ready for him.  Nate came out a day early to remove the deck furniture and pressure wash.  Next day he was back early and worked all day applying the product. Deck is 20x12 with 3 steps to the yard and rails on 2 sides. Excellent job. We are very pleased and highly recommend Nate's services.

"We bought a house that was in need of a new roof. We knew that it was going to cost us a pretty penny, and we had to be careful on who we chose to do the roof as we were not able to pay a high-end company. We found leveled up construction LLC and Tara and Shane came right out the day after we called and provided us with a full estimate that included photos, material cost, and labor. Shane answered all my questions and even did a walk-through with my husband and showed him exactly what would be getting done ! Could not have asked for a better company! Thank you, Shane and Tara for easing our troubles and providing us with a roof for a lifetime !"

Siding FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, you can install siding over stucco, but it's crucial to ensure the stucco is in good condition first. Before proceeding, inspect the stucco for any signs of damage, leaks, or mold growth. If you discover water damage, mold, or have ongoing leak issues, it's recommended to remove the stucco completely. This step prevents future problems like mold and pest infestations and allows a professional to repair or replace any damaged sheathing underneath. If the stucco is sound, the installation process involves attaching furring strips to the wall's framing directly through the stucco. The new siding is then installed onto these furring strips. A professional may also need to adjust window and door openings to prevent them from being recessed behind the new siding, which can cause aesthetic issues and create potential leak points.

There should be small gaps between your roof and the walls of your home, and other buildings. These small gaps let building materials shift, expand, and contract with weather and other outside forces, and they prevent moisture from wicking down walls from roofing and gutter systems. Without these strategic gaps, your home’s exterior and its finishes can sustain water damage, decay, peel, delaminate, and crack. However, there is a fine line between a smart gap and a problematic gap—all  gaps should be small, intentional, and covered or filled in with foam insulation to prevent pests from using them as access points.

Some homeowners use caulk on the edges of clapboard siding to help seal it. However, this method invites new problems. With so many gaps sealed, clapboard siding is often unable to drain properly and moisture from rain or other sources can build up inside. This can lead to rot and other issues over time. When repairing clapboards, it’s best to avoid caulking the final product. The exception is trim around windows and doors, which should be caulked to avoid moisture problems.

Composite siding is very resistant to warping that can affect some other sidings. Because of its composition, this siding doesn’t have the same risks of moisture damage that can cause rotting, buckling, and warping. Composite material doesn’t warp in high temperatures the way some kinds of vinyl siding can.

That said, composite siding is not entirely immune from moisture damage. It should still be properly installed so that moisture can properly drain from behind the siding, and protected by eaves and clean gutter so the siding doesn’t get repeatedly soaked by rain, which could lead to damage.

Vines can cause severe damage to your siding. They can grow underneath and all around siding, which can cause it to pop off or split. Vines also trap moisture, which can damage siding by causing rot. The cost to replace siding may make you consider getting rid of the ivy or adding a trellis or lattice support for it to grow on instead.
