"Mark and Judy at Central Lending were the best that I have worked with in the industry, I absolutley would recommned them for your finanacial needs for your home. The were understanding and had all of the resources that we needed. They both were extremely professional and definately know the business. I will never use another provider and will HIGHLY recommend them to all of my clients (I am also a realtor). I can not say enough about this company.

"Once the job was completed, it looked like the fence was never there!  We were very impressed with the quality of the work, the price, as well as the ease of doing business with Rock-A-Fellas.  We will be using them for some other much needed home projects!"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"The man I talked to was very professional and timely. However, he explained that this particular job was beyond the scope of what their company does. I would certainly use them on another 'issue'.

"Curtis was excellent! He installed wonderful lights throughout my house. He replaced outdoor lighting and doors. He is going to change my air conditioning which is quite old. He is also shiplapping my kitchen and laundry room. I also consider him my home interior designer because he can visualize what I tell him I want. I am also color blind so he was very honest about color schemes for me. He is a very nice person and always keeps in touch about when he will be here. He is honest and a pleasure to deal with. If you want the best you definitely want Curtis."

Subcontractors FAQs, answered by experts

New constructions, renovations, and interior layouts benefit from expert drafting.

Framing is often the most expensive phase of building a house because it’s time-consuming and requires a lot of materials. It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process. Some plots of land sell for $3,000, while others cost upwards of $150,000.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

You have three options in terms of professionals who can draw up blueprints: a draftsperson, an architect, or a structural engineer. A draftsperson can sometimes draw up plans for new construction, but they more often work from approved plans for alterations or to provide 3D drawings. Architects are usually the best option for standard residential construction projects. Structural engineers might be necessary for custom home builds or for alterations that could affect your home’s structural integrity. Draftsmen cost the least of the three, followed by architects and then structural engineers.

There are several different steps in the pole barn building process. First, you’ll need construction plans, which you’ll use to obtain permits. Then, you can clear the land so it’s suitable for building and installing the foundation. Your contractor will frame the barn using large poles, then rough in the plumbing and electricity (if your barn has those elements) before finishing the interior, adding siding, and installing the roof.

After that, they’ll finish up the electrical work and plumbing and add your windows and doors. You may have a few other finishing jobs to do like painting or waterproofing.
