He damaged the lug nut covers then claim I came in with them damaged. I spoke to the service manager and he took the side of the employee of which I shut the job down and I refused to pay for any work. I was issued a work order receipt of no charge. Previous home-owner had substituted a 30-watt fuse for the recommended 20-watt. Half the outlets on the second floor were non-functional, leaving only one working in each bedroom and the central landing space. We got several bids on the job and although Matt's wasn't the lowest, he suggested an innovative solution that would obviate the need to break into the old plaster-and-lath wall in each bedroom. Matt said he'd run a completely new 100-amp service up to the attic we had already decided to renovate (it was a warren of small rooms with walls made of masonite, probably to accommodate some indigent relative during the Great Depression). My husband and I demolished the interior walls of the attic and discovered dangerous old wiring covered with newspapers and magazines (dating to 1934-1939) that were used as insulation. We filled a 15-foot dumpster to the brim with the resulting debris, and thanked God the house hadn't burned down Matt came in when he said he would, and began work by removing all the old wiring, without interrupting service to the second floor where we each have a computer, multiple tvs and exercise equipment (except for an hour here and there, and Matt always gave us a heads-up so we could safely power down). He then ran new cabling from the basement up to the attic (and just finding a route to do that required the removal of an upper kitchen cabinet, revealing the waste pipe that serves the kitchen and both bathrooms). He installed outlets every six feet in the attic, which was in the process of being renovated simultaneously by the carpenter who had recommended Matt to us. He had to pull up attic floor boards to do so, and to access the space between the outer shell of the house and the walls, so he could run wiring from the new circuit-breaker box in the attic to each of the four bedrooms below plus the bathroom and central landing space. He also created a hard-wired smoke and CO2 detector system that serves the basement and all three floors. Matt was always there when he said he would be, and when he ran into unforeseen problems that required more time than he'd anticipated, he was willing to and quot;eatand quot; the extra expense (although we chose to reimburse him beyond the amount of the original bid because we want to use him again). In the end we had a lovely space with multiple outlets, cable-ready wall mount for the TV, lights in the closets, etc., plus a functional second floor wiring system. The bulk of the project took about 3.5 weeks, plus a couple of days at the end of the attic renov. project to connect electric wall heater units and connect the wall outlets to cover plates, etc. Matt was a pleasure to work with as well; always polite and cheerful, and cleaned up after himself at the end of each work day. We will be using him again for further remodeling projects that require electric work: remodeling two bathrooms and the kitchen. It took a few weeks to receive the building permit, during which time he added a porch roof to the neighbor's house without a permit. Once we received the permit, he erected the structure in short order, but did not clean up afterwards. We had to vacuum the sawdust from the work area to prevent the dogs from tracking sawdust throughout the house. He gave the excuse that he sent someone to clean up and they didn't do it. He installed the metal roof, but cut the drip edge off even with the facia board, and made a mess with the tar material where the house shingles cover the upper edge of the metal. When we informed him that we were not pleased with the appearance of the messy tar, he covered with the area with shingles. Within a week it rained and the upper edge leaked water into the covered area, soaking the new wood. The drip edge does not allow the water to drip into the rain gutter (installed by others), instead the water tracks back up the underside of the metal and drips on the new wood as well. After several trips back, and many text messages, and phone calls, the leaks and drip edge problems have not been resolved. He has moved on to other work in the area, but will not even discuss the issues with us. Our new patio roof still leaks and the wood is getting wet.

On Wed April 29th while he was driving through our parking lot his vehicle scrapped the back rear bumper of my car, cracking it and leaving vermilion green paint on my white bumper. I went out to talk to him he was sorry but had to leave so his employee that stayed behind called him on the phone and we spoke. Chad assured me he would take care of it and \"make you happy\". After I got 2 estimates for the work (I also told Chad I would not need the rental car - I thought this would save him some money) to replace the broken rear bumper cover and rear bumper moulding ($915 and $1056) Chad decided to go to his insurance. His insurance adjuster from Erie Insurance, Glenn Parke, came out and looked at my car. At first Glenn said his estimate came in higher than my low estimate. Then he decided that the bumper could be repaired. I explained that I wanted the bumper fixed (i.e. replaced) to the way it was before Chad hit me. Glenn said - repair. Glenn's estimate came in $186 lower than my lowest estimate. I called Chad to tell him I was not happy and would he be willing to make this right. Chad explained this is why he has insurance and that was the end of it for him. I have told Chad I will be contacting the building owner since he/Chad was basically a sub-contractor for them and also my insurance agent. I feel that getting the bumper replaced to the condition it was in before Chad hit me is not being unreasonable. If I were to sell this car and a vehix report was run on it, it would come up that the bumper had been damaged and only repaired which could affect the price. I just want the car restored to the condition it was before Chad hit it. At this point I am waiting for my agent to call me back. Personal feeling: Since what happened was in NO WAY my fault I should not be expected to pay to make it right."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/pa/williamsport/shaylor%27s-lawn-care-reviews-2090607.htm"},"position":7},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"K'S UPHOLSTERY","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"PA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Constance M."},"reviewBody":"I was having a difficult time trying to find someone in my new location that would consider doing leather repair. "The crew came to the house and modified their way of working to accommodate the tight work space. They were friendly and went above what they had to do by saving my flowers out of my flower bed before they began digging out the space. They answered my questions and explained how things were going. The company owner often checked in by phone and in person to communicate with me regarding the job."

"Work quality was good for the work that they did do, however, they left us hanging over two years, in fact, they still havenâ t finished the project despite payment in full and multiple promises that they will get it done. FAQs for patio cover service projects in Watsontown, PA
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
