"Frazier Tree Service did an awesome job when removing 3 of our trees. Their estimate was fair and they worked together like a well oiled machine. The were very concerned about doing the job properly and not causing any property damage. I would give them 5 stars and recommend them and use them for any future removals."

"Ryan did an excellent job trimming my shrubs, discarding some trees, uprooting a magnolia tree that was threatening the foundation of my home and making my landscape look so much better! He also went above and beyond, showing professionalism, being very helpful and kind. I highly recommend him!"

"I just want to say that this company is the best! I would highly recommend them to family and friends! Young Sam is definitely a big asset to the company with his knowledge of the company! He was such a kind and friendly and so willing to help with whatever needed accomplished. Very professional for such a young man! They did a wonderful job cutting down my 2 trees and did a excellent job of cleanup. And they went above and beyond cleaning up my back yard of broken dead tree limbs, cleaned my roof off and my gutters! And again an excellent job of cleanup! The four men who accomplished all of this was exemplary in all that they did for me. Very hard working gentlemen! And all I can say, hire this company, they are the best in my opinion! I come from a nice family who always told me that I would have to work hard to achieve my goals and to help take care of eachother. I have 2 kids that I love more than anything . Both are boys and I want to show them how a man is suppose to provide for his family . Growing up my grandad would take us to our land with 69 acres and we would cut huge fields of grass , and cut a few trees down as well. I’m 30 years old and had my lawn care LLC for 2 years. I’m very easy to talk to and everyone loves my energy and I’m always positive and love to see others smile.

Tree Service FAQs, answered by experts

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

Trees should be pruned every two to five years, depending on its age and type. Young trees should be inspected and pruned every two to three years. Mature trees should be inspected and trimmed every three to five years, and fruit trees should be pruned annually with a careful eye on seasonal growth. Evergreens typically don’t need pruning, unless branches or limbs are damaged, diseased, or harboring pests.

The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).

In most cases, you should not use a pruning seal on trees after trimming. Applying a sealant can interfere with the tree's natural healing process, and it does not guarantee protection from pathogens. Instead of sealing the cut, the best practice is to support the tree's natural recovery by providing it with plenty of water and a dormant-style fertilizer. However, there are exceptions. Pruning seals may be recommended for very vulnerable species, like elm trees, in areas where dangerous diseases such as Dutch elm disease are prevalent. In these specific situations, the protection offered by a sealant can outweigh its downsides. For advice tailored to your situation, especially after cutting large branches, it is best to consult a local tree trimming professional.

Generally, you should prune around 20% of an apple tree’s growth—and never more than 30%. This means that if you have a severely overgrown tree, it can take a few seasons to prune it back enough to produce the healthiest fruit.

If you’re dealing with a newly planted or juvenile tree, hold off on pruning beyond the initial shaping. Wait at least a couple of seasons into fruit production since pruning can increase the number of water sprouts and unproductive foliage.
