"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. "The only reason that I gave 1 star is because there is nothing lower! This company is the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. They made a commitment to perform a repair/cleaning on my grill the week before memorial day - they never showed up, never responded to calls or texts. Then 2 weeks later it's all sunshine and lollipops - can we come and clean your grill? No apology, or anything. The person here didn't do much more than text on his phone while here. He painted the outside hood of my grill and it is a total mess. It has runs, streaks and missed spots. The repairman told me to buy more paint and keep putting more coats of paint until it eventually evens out. I don't recommend this company for any services - they cannot even return a call or text. Sketchy."
