Scott arrived on time for our appointment to go over the project. His quote was very reasonable and fair to complete the work. I scheduled with Scott a week in advance the start day for his crew. They arrived on time and went right to work. It took about 2 days to complete the project. The crew was very polite and good natured and did very nice work.

WE SMELLED NATURAL GAS AT THE OUTDOOR METER FOR NEARLY A WEEK AND DECIDED TO HAVE IT CHECKED BEFORE THE WEATHER GOT COLDER.  SCOTT SEPTAK, A REGISTERED MASTER PLUMBER, ARRIVED ON TIME TO CHECK IT OUT.  ON THAT DAY IT WAS EXTREMELY WINDY AND THE WIND WOULD NOT STOP AND WE COULDN'T EVEN DETECT A HINT OF GAS IN THE AIR OR NEAR THE METER.  MY WIFE TOLD ME THAT SCOTT DISMOUNTED THE METER AND CHECKED ALL SEALS AND CONNECTIONS AND THEN CHECKED ALL THE LINES IN THE HOUSE AND ADJUSTED SOME NEAR THE FURNACE AND HOT WATER HEATER.  IT WAS 4 DAYS UNTIL THE WINDS STOPPED, FINALLY, AND I CHECKED AGAIN WHERE I HAD BEEN SMELLING THE GAS FOR DAYS.  IT WAS ALL CLEAR.  EVEN THOUGH THE WIND PRESENTED A CHALLENGE FOR THE GAS DETECTION EQUIPMENT, HIS WORK SUCCESSFULLY ELIMINATED THE GAS LEAK AND PROVIDED ASSURANCE THAT ALL THE LINES IN THE HOUSE WERE FINE AS WELL.  WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCOTT SEPTAK FOR ANY TYPE OF PLUMBING WORK.  ANGIE'S LIST WAS VERY USEFUL IN HELPING US FIND THIS CONTRACTOR.

The job was completed quickly. We had to wait until the concrete dried to reset the toilet. Scott is a professional who knows what he is doing.

This guy does great work.  He is a one man business and does his work with the quality and care of a true craftsman.  His prices are great and I am happy with the work that he does.  I would recommend Advanced Service Plumbing to anyone who needs residential service.

I was needing to change a valve in my house and while attempting to do it by myself I discovered that we had a leak in the water main valve. A neighbor had recommended Scott so we called him and he gave us an appointment. He was very professional and knowledgable. We needed to call the water company to close the water service for 24 hours while we gave this window of time to Scott to show up and fix it. He fix it very quickly and even gave me advice and quotes in other future projects. He is a fair priced provider and I will definitely use him again.

Over the telephone during an early morning call because of a frozen water pipe, we assessed the situation. As pipe had not burst, waited my turn behind other emergencies who took precedence with burst pipes that day. However, Scott did keep in touch via telephone during the course of the wait with his estimated time of arrival. When he did get to the house, he visually assessed the situation and had the equipment to rectify the problem within minutes. Very professional, very knowledgable, very personable. I have already spoken with this provider about future work - absolutely will use him again!
