The work is the easy part. Identifying what the Customer envisions for their project/needs is the only challenge. Million dollar projects, to 2 day honey-do lists, I understand that the budget drives every Project, and am sensitive to the value of a dollar as well as being compensated for quality work. There's a reason, in my 17 yrs on my own, I've NOT had a call back!

Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project.
