"Great job. The crew set up a shield for the area, removed verticle blinds and had all the proper equipment. Mold was removed, ceiling and blinds treated and bactericidal paint used on the entire are. Also scraped and recaulked exterior top of window to prevent future moisture leak. Would definitely hire again but hope it's not needed! Thanks Steve!"

They were always very responsive, professional and extremely courteous, even checking in with us every day to see how the work went that day. I've never been more satisfied with a contractor, and would not even call another company if I needed this type of work done again."

The amount of insulation you need will vary depending on where you live. Energy Star recommends certain minimum insulation values in different geographic regions. In most cases, however, even adding a little insulation is better than not adding any.

You won’t find anything inside a cupola on a house because it’s hollow (think of an upside-down cup), allowing air to ventilate out of a roof via vents and light to come in via windows. They also usually have a base, vents around the middle (usually louvers), and a pointed cap at the top.

Interior walls don't require insulation. However, there are a couple of reasons you may consider adding it in some situations. Insulation in interior walls is excellent for sound-dampening between rooms and can help maintain a regulated temperature in insulated rooms by lowering the heat transfer between adjacent areas of the home.

It’s technically possible to install loose-fill cellulose insulation without a blower, but it’s much more time-consuming, tedious, and dangerous. That said, if you purchase cellulose materials at a home improvement store, ask if they rent out blowers for free or at a discounted rate. In many cases, if you buy the material from the store, they’ll rent out the blower at no extra cost.
