"On black Friday 2020 my dad's boiler stopped working, with 1 phone call they were there within a couple of hours and had the problem figured out and fixed quickly. Awesome company and knowledge people."
"Estimator came out quickly, was very personable, and could schedule my install appointment a few weeks later right then and there. When the tech came out he was polite, efficient, and very quick. Overall I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to others if the price is competitive with another company. "
"Mike was great and his team was too ! He scheduled the work quickly and actually visited the site prior to be sure he had the right equipment. He and his team were right on time and the guys worked very hard in tight spaces doing a better job than the original contractor had done. All of the damaged flex line was removed and brand new lines were installed and elevated with zip ties off the ground to better avoid varmint damage in the future. Mike checked my furnace and did some quick maintanance in it for me. He is extremely experienced and very personable, and his price was extremely fair. I would (and will) call Mike Bowen for any and all future HVAC, electrical, plumbing and gas needs for my cottage.... EXCELLENT GUY - EXCELLENT COMPANY. "
"Jim is local. It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job. He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary. For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer, Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area. If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim. I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services. "
"Guy that came out said that it was an issue of the boiler not having enough water. He turned the valve to force water to it and and ended making a mess in my basement floor of black gunk water that I had to clean up. Idk if that was necessarily the issue, he said that’s all it was and nothing else needs to be done. He didn’t provide any type of explanation as to why it wasn’t getting enough water when turned on as this is something that should be self regulated, not something I should have to monitor anytime I turn my heat on. I won’t even necessarily know if this is the case and it’s fixed until fall rolls around again and we need heat, as it is now warming up. I hope that he was correct but quite pessimistic, and felt that a more thorough check should of been done."
"THEY INSTALLED THE FURNACE AND A/C IN ONE DAY'S TIME. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK WITH A FEW MINOR EXCEPTIONS. THE NEXT DAY THE OWNER HIMSELF RESPONDED TO MAKE THE CORRECTIONS TO OUR SATISFACTION. I THINK THEIR PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE FOR THE HIGH END EQUIPMENT THAT WAS INSTALLED (TRANE)."
"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Very good, almost great. The install team arrived on time, confirmed work order & started the job. In about 4.5 hrs, power was applied & we started to get heat. A quick overview of the HAVC system was given, balance paid all questions answered and there were smiles on most faces. The sales person described the operation of the new HAVC to be quieter than current system and it is. However, the term quieter was not expressed in db difference so a service tech came out and was able to discuss the issue. The whole evolution was a positive event and we will gladly refer Orbit Energy & Power LLC, as a HAVC company that I will work with again."
Coolant and antifreeze are technically not the same thing. The difference between the two is the ratio of water to other chemicals. True antifreeze is mainly made up of either ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, while coolant comprises one part antifreeze and one part water. However, the terms coolant and antifreeze are often used interchangeably, even by pros.

It takes about five to 10 minutes for heat to reach a radiator, then about one hour until the radiator fully heats up a room. The exact duration depends on the size of the room and how far away the radiator is from the boiler heating system. Heating up an entire house could take up to two hours.
Safety concerns with propane boilers include proper venting to prevent carbon monoxide buildup, secure gas line connections, and regular inspection of safety controls. Professional boiler installation and annual maintenance are essential to minimize risks. Having a carbon monoxide detector installed in your home is essential for early detection of any leaks or ventilation issues.
To figure out if your boiler is worth repairing or if you need to replace your boiler, first figure out how old the unit is. Boilers last 15 to 20 years, so if your unit is 15 years oldor older, it may be better to replace the entire thing depending on the severity of the problems. If it’s not quite that old, then it’s probably worth repairing. Another thing to consider is whether your warranty covers any of the repair costs. If so, it may be worthwhile to repair your boiler to keep it running.
