"Hired them through Select Home Warranty. Told me I had to pay for additional parts not covered by the warranty. Nearly three months later, after paying for the parts, they still tell me that they are waiting for the parts. I think they are lying. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office and contacting 6ABC consumer help. Might even get my niece involved at this point. And yes she is a lawyer and a Consumer Protection Lawyer at that. This would be right up her alley...stay away from these guys. They take your money, promise to call but never do and leave you hanging. "

We found Jacob online and were so extremely satisfied with the way he took care of every small detail from the start of getting an estimate to the finished product! "I hired JLF Construction to finish some spackle and paint our nursery. I wish I never did. I had Jose come out to give a quote. He looked everything over and immediately shot of a price way too high for what the scope of work was. I was providing all materials and tools just needed labor. I told him we would think it over and get back to him. From that day on he continued to harass me with phone calls and texts wanting me to hire him. Finally I explained we felt the price was too high and we'd be getting additional quotes. He then negotiated down to what I thought was a fair price and we hired him. He sold me on how he had over 40 years of experience. Showing pictures of work he recently completed that we liked. We set up a day for him to come out and do the work. I was working when he had the availability and my wife was home. She text me saying there were 3 people here total and she didn't think it was going too well. She said she thinks I need to look everything over but he was demanding payment and wouldn't leave. I text Jose and explained I wouldn't agree to pay until I was home to see the work completed. To my amazement when I got home the room looked awful. He had let his 20 year old son who had no experience cut in the paint. Lines weren't straight, paint on my ceiling in some areas and other areas paint didn't even go all the way up the wall and it wasn't a double coat cut in. The white paint under showed through where they cut in. I immediately called Jose expressing my concerns and he started threatening me, insulting me and telling me I want something for nothing. He threatened to come to my house the next day. My wife who is pregnant was afraid so I agreed to just pay him. He then offered to send his son back out but he refused to come fix it himself since he wasn't the one who did the cutting in. I refused. I was so disappointed after seeing all of his great reviews. I wish I never came across his business. We had to pay a professional painter to come out and fix the issues. Luckily they didn't try to change and arm and a leg. If I could tell anyone to look elsewhere when considering these guys I would. Also, just a side note he had his sons wash out the paint in my yard causing my grass to die. I had them on camera the entire time doing it and asked multiple times to please stop since I pay for lawn treatments. This entire experience ended up costing me more than what we budgeted."

"I do not recommend BHI Construction. The owner sent his crew, but midway through the job we noticed serious quality and construction issues. We contacted the owner, who came out with two others, agreed the work was sub-standard, and said the problems would be fixed. After they left, several issues were still unresolved. Since then, he has not responded to calls or texts. We have photos and documentation of the problems. "

"A wonderful job. Very quick response when a tree fell on our house and caused roof damage - the roof had been installed by NexGen 5 years prior & was working well through storms and high winds. NexGen worked closely with our insurance company ensuring we received all of the compensation we needed and were due. We have had NexGen replace doors at the house as well and have been very pleased with the responsiveness, expertise, efficiency, workmanship & personalized care afforded by all of the folks working there. Wouldn't go anywhere."

Our deck had some significant deterioration and Declan gave me a very clear assessment, was transparent and responsive throughout, and got the work done quickly and within the budget we agreed to. He even identified an issue with the siding of my house next to the deck that I wasn’t aware of and help quickly remedy the issue. Most importantly, his team did great work and the repaired deck looks great! We’ll be calling Declan back for any of our future projects!"
