"Terribly. These guys really had no idea what they were doing. They have some "minor" things to finish up and have disappeared. Will not return text messages. They left ridges and low spots and spaces where water will freeze and crack asphalt. Paid the $16000. Half way through paving said that they calculated wrong and with they would put a thinner thickness or I could pay for another truck of hot mix. Cost me another $3000! I'm an idiot not having checked out their work with other customers. Only thing positive is that they were real nice guys."

The three most common types of asphalt are hot asphalt, MC cold mix, and UPM asphalt. Hot asphalt is used most often for paving and patching roadways while it’s hot and workable. Though they may look similar, tar and bitumen come from different sources. Bitumen is a petroleum product—extracted during crude oil refining—and is mostly made up of hydrocarbons.
