"Exceptional service! Administration, Supervisor/Estimator and Arborists are all extremely knowledgeable and responsive. Each of the 5-man onsite crew (3 climbers, 2 ground) is skilled and professional but together they formed a spectacular team. They coordinated cutting/removing trees that were entwined with electrical and communications cables in a confined space with breathtaking efficiency. The work was started on-time, property was protected and effective clean-up was integrated into the process. Unfortunately, these trees needed to be removed due to safety concerns but would also call them for other services. I believe that this experienced company excels in everything they do and I highly recommend Arbor Care!"

"I had an 8"-10" diameter limb on a giant pin-oak that had spanned over my roof (also: I have a very tall house). It was a true "widow-maker" of a limb. I had 5 arborists come and bid the job, and they were very nervous, and the price was pretty high. First Choice didn't bat an eye, and their bid was the lowest by several hundred dollars. At first, I was very hesitant to accept such a low offer; but I used some AI tools to analyze comments and reviews across several sites, and the only negative comment found was that they once removed the "wrong" tree. I decided to give them a chance, and I was VERY pleased. These guys are no joke. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. I will definitely hire them again and will be recommending them to anyone who needs some tree-work done."

"Had a huge tree fall during a storm, breaking thru fence into neighbor's yard. Will and his crew did a great job of removing the tree and some additional cutting of other overgrown trees in the backyard. Special shout to Richard, who came back to do additional work I requested. Very pleased overall with their service. Will use again for sure."

"Tyler and his crew do a very nice job! I have used Tyler a few times through the past few years to either remove trees or cut back trees and shrubs and they always do a nice job. Tyler also follows up to make sure I am pleased with the work and he is reasonably priced! Also he is very knowledgeable about the work he performs which gives you confidence in him doing the work correctly for you! I highly recommend Tyler and Countryside Cutters!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Doug was very prompt in corresponding to my project needs. His crew did a very nice job grading the slope of property and this was a great solution to the water coming into the basement! So glad we hired him first. It saved thousands for my elderly father’s property. He also removed a tall pine tree that was mostly dead in front of house. Stump was ground both there and near foundation of house. Top soil seed and hay were added and it has very much improved the landscaping. I highly recommend his services! Thanks so much Doug for your help!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Most experts recommend removing a tree that has sustained more than 25% loss in the limbs, trunk, or circumference of the bark. Doing an initial trimming of damaged and dangling branches, but then waiting a few days of monitoring to decide how much more you might need to cut can help you better assess the total damage to the tree. However, consulting a tree maintenance pro to make this determination the best course of action before removing a tree.

Yes, it can be good to remove dead branches from trees. Dead branches can lead to rot in other areas of the tree. They can also cause damage if they fall on a house, shed, fence, car, pool, or other structure or property. However, it’s important that dead branch removal is done safely. If the branch is high in a tree or requires a lift or ladder to access, consider calling a professional tree removal company, as they will have the experience and equipment to do the job safely.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.

Yes, pruning makes trees stronger because it fosters proper growth, weight distribution, and balance of the crown. By increasing the structural integrity of the tree through pruning, it’s less likely to experience disease, pests, broken limbs, and storm damage. Pruning the right branches and limbs is key to improving a tree’s strength and balance.

If it’s your property, then you can plant a tree near power lines, but it’s not the best idea. Any vegetation that grows within 10 feet or so of power lines will fall under the responsibility of the utility company, and they may trim or remove it as necessary. If you do move forward with your plan, try to choose a smaller ornamental tree, plant it as far away from the power lines as you can, and keep it trimmed to avoid future problems.
