Customers say: Super punctual

"No need to look further. They cleaned as I use to clean in my early 50’s. Did an incredible job. I Came from a service that broke my bedroom bench vacuuming. Nothing was thoroughly cleaned. Didn’t speak English so I was at a loss. Tired of it. Needed to change. I’m excited to find an excellent service. Thank you."

"Jim Stewart called and set up an appointment the same day. After going up on the roof and taking pictures to show me, we discussed my options and he quoted a very reasonable price. He and his son came two days later and repaired my roof which was leaking every time it rained. They also cleaned out my gutters while they were up on the roof and we have agreed to have him come back and clean them out again next year. It has rained since they were here and so far everything is dry. They provided service above and beyond what you normally expect and I would use them again and encourage others to hire them for roofing work, gutter cleaning, and painting."

"They did a good job cleaning and showed up on time, but they just kind of left with no communication when they were done. I was also disappointed that there wasn't any follow up afterwards to see if I wanted to use them again."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can draw your own deck plans in many cases. However, you must know your local building codes and be familiar with carpentry principles. Even then, it's always best to run your plans by a professional contractor with experience building decks, whether you choose to DIY some of the build or not.

Space deck handrail posts four to six feet apart. If the posts are more than six feet apart, the railing will be less able to withstand lateral forces and is more susceptible to breaking. Additionally, railing posts that are more than six feet apart may not be up to code, and you may face fines and be required to reinstall the posts to bring them up to code.

In most cases, there should be a small gap between the house and the deck, usually no more than ½ to ¾ of an inch. This space allows water and moisture to flow through instead of pooling against the side of your house. It also lets flashing protect your siding from runoff, which is one of the most common issues with decks.

The best and fastest way to remove paint from a deck often involves combining a chemical stripper with a pressure washer. Gel-based paint strippers are highly recommended because their thick consistency makes them less messy and easier to apply than liquid strippers. After applying the stripper to loosen the paint, you can use a pressure washer to efficiently wash away the residue. When using a pressure washer for this task, it's important to use a low pressure (under 1000 PSI) to avoid forcing too much moisture into the wood, which could lead to mildew or rot.

Typically, most residential wooden decks are designed to support approximately 40 pounds per square foot, including the deck’s weight and any items placed on it. While this is fine for typical use, it is usually not enough to hold the weight of a hot tub filled with water and people. To safely support a hot tub, your wood deck will likely require reinforcement. Therefore, it’s best to have a contractor or a structural engineer assess it before hot tub installation.
