"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. We would highly recommend anyone needing brick or masonry work to use Michener Chimney and Masonry. Even though it isn't something that they'd normally do, they recognized that they could take a grass that is not their proprietary product, however using their proprietary expertise, and make chicken salad out of chicken s#*t! After reaching out to FL after a terrible grass install as indicated above, the owner Jim reached back to me the next day and said he'd have their project manager stop by to have a look. Within a day or two he came by, walked around with me and had a look, then did another walk around on his own taking notes, and within a day or two of that I had a comprehensive plan to make it right in the form of a detailed estimate. As I said, the finished product was fantastic, however just as good as the work was, the people are even better. From the initial call to their customer reception, owner, project manager, and to the crew, everyone was professional, attentive, and truly cared about what they were doing every step of the way. It's a rare gem when you find a company that meets or exceeds expectations. Next up for them? The White House lawn."

"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. We contacted Tudi, but they refuse to come and check their installation without us payong a 100$ fee -- to check their own work! We probably should have gone with any big box store to install the water heater -- cheaper and same customer service."
