Me and my mother have taken countless days off work for them to come bandaid the problems instead of fixing them costing us even more money for missing work. Last Monday we failed for the 3rd time so I reached out AGAIN to the cooperate office and here we are 7 days later with no response and issue still not addressed This will be reported to the BBB, Angie's list will be reported for false advertising because the reviews under this company's name are actually for a company they bought out action 9 will be involved if this isn't the last time I have to deal with these people. It's the most unprofessional experience I've had with any HVAC company and I'm very disappointed in how they conduct themselves and their business please home owners beware!!"

For many people, the primary disadvantage of a gas fireplace insert is that it doesn’t look or smell like a classic wood-burning fire. Additionally, the labor costs of installing a gas insert are higher than some other types of fireplace inserts, including electric and pellet inserts. There are also limitations on where you can install ventless gas fireplaces because they’re banned in certain places (including California).

Both wood stoves and fireplaces are effective at heating, but wood stoves are more efficient, meaning more of the fuel is converted to heat rather than lost. Wood stoves, depending on the capacity, can also heat larger spaces, while fireplaces are better for heating smaller areas, like an individual room.

Compared to certain types of firewood like pine or spruce—which burn off sticky resin contained within the wood that creates lots of smoke—elm isn’t the worst option for burning in a fireplace.

Because elm wood is dense, it burns at a moderate pace and does a pretty good job of keeping your home warm. Hardwood like maple or oak may perform slightly better, but elm isn’t a bad choice overall.
