Small jobs welcome

"Returned call very quickly, promptly arranged for replacement of hot water tank. Worked with my schedule, as we also had some pressing family medical issues going on at the same time. Also helped me with another issue at the house, which was extremely helpful. Would definitely hire again."

Customers say: Quality work

"They were prompt and reasonable, however, I felt the job wasn't completed as the pipe was not covered completely and they left small mounds of dirt in the yard. I discussed this with the owner and he promised to complete the job, but never did. He didn't respond to multiple times I tried to communicate with him, by phone and email."

"I cannot speak more highly of Zach and Dave Booth. They are the best contractors I have ever worked with in my entire life and I am NOT exaggerating in the slightest. Zach was very prompt in communicating with me. Was very honest and thoughtful about the scope of the project. He worked hard to help save money on the project and even came up with a really creative solution to a problem that SIGNIFICANTLY saved money. He and his father Dave were incredibly fair in their pricing and really put in an effort to make the project affordable. Their work was clean and efficient and very very well done. I was also pleasantly surprised and amazed at how quickly the project was done and how they worked to make sure everything looked good upon completion. They are both really really good guys and I enjoyed getting to know both of them and they answered my questions politely and respectfully. They also helped me out a lot getting my service line inspected and the service started right away. Honestly my mind was kind of blown by their help. I recommend them with the highest recommendation and I have recommended them to whoever I can. They are simply the best. fair, honest, proficient, experienced, hard working, creative, thoughtful, expert and good men."

"Bakers Waterproofing is an excellent Basement Company! I had water and foundation issues in my basement which needed attention. Kris was the service advisor that came out recently and he was prompt, friendly, and very thorough! Kris explained in detail to me the issues with my basement and offered various options for mitigation and repair of my water and structural issues. Kris was honest about the scope of their work and left the decisions up to me about what I thought I could afford and handle at this time. A few years ago, I had Bakers Waterproofing do some work for me in another part of the basement. Jessie was my service advisor at that time and he was also excellent! He was able to locate the immediate source of water coming into the basement from a spring outside. He showed me all the issues with my basement, however I chose to take care of part of the basement as the other part was not crucial at that time. Jessie even found a bowing wall that other companies did not find or address. I highly recommend Bakers Waterproofing!"

Problems with a damaged handle or valve cartridge can result in a leaking faucet that won’t turn off completely. The faucet may also be rusty or corroded, which can prevent the faucet from turning the water off all the way. A leaky faucet can cause issues beyond the annoying dripping sound. It also wastes water and can be an indication that something else is wrong with the system, so fix a leaky bathtub faucet as soon as possible.

Yes, you can adjust your well pump pressure relatively easily by yourself. You’ll need to remove the cover from your pressure switch and adjust a nut that controls cut-in pressure. Learn more about how to adjust a well pump pressure switch with a step-by-step guide to setting your water pressure.

You can use PEX pipe underground, and it will hold up well in underground insulations. Keep in mind that PEX tubing is not rated for outdoor use and that insulation is necessary in regions that experience cold winters. When using it underground, you should also bury PEX piping at least 12 inches below the frost line.

It’s a good idea to drain your pipes to prevent them from freezing if you’re expecting extremely cold temperatures or planning to be away from your home for an extended period of time during the winter. You may be able to avoid draining your pipes if you insulate outdoor pipes and keep your home heated to a minimum temperature of 55 degrees.

During the winter, pipeworks constrict and don't expand until warm weather comes. If it doesn't get very cold where you live, but you're still having a problem getting outdoor faucet handles to turn, there's probably a build-up under the handle. Mineral build-up is especially common in areas with hard water. Limescale causes faucets and stems to become resistant to turning. Worn parts and debris can also make it impossible to turn a faucet.
