Elysium Construction & ConsultingMy wife and I are so pleased we chose to use Elysium to complete our project. We dealt directly with the owners and builders. They made sure our goals and needs were not only met, but exceeded. I originally contacted Scott to get just the roof and gutters/downspouts replaced, due to some lost shingles in a recent wind storm in the area. Scott was punctual and professional, and he made me feel comfortable when we discussed the work needing completed. I immediately felt like Scott was someone I could trust and felt like he cared about both his business and his clients. The initial estimate for my roof and gutter job was very fair in price, which led to me discussing that I really wanted to add a porch to my home. Scott said Elysium does that type of work as well if I was interested. I honestly didn't think I could afford a project like that at this time. After thinking on it a day or two, I called Scott back to ask for an estimate on the addition of the front porch as well. I was surprised when everything came back within my budget and I was able to have the entire project completed. My wife and I agreed to have Elysium complete our project and that's when Bryan the builder came to make our vision a reality. He worked and communicated with my wife and I to make sure the details were just right. Bryan is another guy you feel like you can trust when you meet him. He had a genuine desire to make sure our vision came to fruition and gave great attention to detail. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our completed project and we are excited every time we think about getting to enjoy our new porch this spring. The project really changed our home for the better, our house took on a whole new personality and really stands out in a good way. We will use Elysium for any future projects and recommend them strongly to anyone needing or wanting to complete a construction project at their home. Home Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsI did not know how to rate Overall Service since no service was done and the NA button did not work and I decided to go with Average. I did not know how to rate whether I would use them again. I answered No because I am not looking to have a new roof put on my house, and they did not do work on my current roof. My report here is to help others who might be looking for gutters, and reading that in the description. No need to waste your time and the companies with contact. I read the company information on Angie's list to include gutter repair. They do not offer this. They only work on warranty issues with their roof/gutter installations. They do not put up gutters nor repair them unless they installed your roof as well. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice, but was unable to help me with my gutter - not roofing issue.- Margaret N.

Kenko RoofingHad downspout issues caused by multiple levels of the roof not channeling water effectively. Water was running into basement. Called 7-8 companies. No one was available except Kenko. They were out to the house within an hour. Incredibly responsive. Very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Scheduled a very reasonably priced repair. The end result was phenomenal, very high quality work and cleaned up well afterwards too. My wife and I have had numerous contractors work on our home in the last two years. The salesperson David was very honest and had no interest in upselling. He strongly advised against any interior drains for my basement, and he instead recommended an exterior drain called HydroBlox for my backyard. The estimate for the HydroBlox was $3,400. The installation occurred a few weeks later. Three employees used a machine to dig a trench in my backyard, and then because of utility lines, they hand-dug another trench in my side yard. They installed the pieces of HydroBlox and covered them with dirt. I expect the HydroBlox to properly drain the water from my yard, but if they do not, then I will update my review in the future.

From the moment we put out feelers to the Metal Roofing Alliance, Distinctive was in contact - yet there was absolutely no pressure. We took time to research metal types/styles before asking for an appointment to get a quote. Bruce became a fountain of information, fully answering all questions and discussing options in roofing styles as well as how to overcome ventilation issues in our attic. We found Bruce to be one of the most helpful and professional contractors with whom we have ever dealt. Distinctive quoted the lowest price for a quality metal roof with hidden fasteners (we did not want exposed fasteners as commonly used on other homes around us). Even at that stage when all we had to do was sign the contract, there was absolutely no pressure to do so. We ultimately decided not to install a metal roof, but it was certainly not a strike against this contractor. Due to an extensive amount of upcoming concrete work, the cost difference between reinstalling asphalt shingles vs. installing a metal roof was simply too great. If not for the cost of having a concrete driveway installed in the same year, we would have proceeded with Distinctive - we were sad that we had to forego a metal roof.
