"Very professional company. Estimator helped me make decisions on re-paving and widening of my driveway. Crew showed up to do the job when scheduled. The crew was very personable and informative about the job. The job was completed expediently and was done just like I expected it to be done. It was excellent workmanship. I feel the value of the job done was well worth the price I paid. If you need a new driveway, don't bother getting any other estimates. I would use them again if needed at a new home and would recommend them to anybody."

Small jobs welcome

"Jason was amazing and did the best job I have ever seen on a 50 year old, washed out road! He widened it and resloped everything for a proper water run off. 46 Tons later of 2A modified stone! Pricing was more than fair for all of the top notch work he completed . Hire Jason Excavating, and work with the best!"

"Immanuel provided a fair estimate for the complete removal of my old asphalt driveway, rebuilding the base, and applying a 3-inch layer of asphalt after rolling. All of this was done in about six hours. He and his crew did a great job minimizing damage to the lawn adjacent to the driveway and worked in an efficient and friendly manner. This morning, after the heavy rains of last night, it was great to see no standing water anywhere on my driveway. Finally, as an old Army commander, I found a section with well maintained vehicles and tools has a good leader in charge. For years I have noticed how clean Immanuelâ s equipment always is which indicates to me a professional who cares."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Compared to options like concrete, asphalt, and pavers, resin driveways are far more flexible. As a result, they are more durable against chipping and cracking. Their bonded surface allows them to withstand extreme cold and heat without succumbing to the warping or cracking caused by freeze-thaw cycles. In addition, resin driveways are easy to clean and maintain.

An example of permeable paving is a set of cinder blocks or natural stone pavers with room inside for natural materials, such as gravel, sand, or grass. You can also design these pavers with brick or plastic tiles.

In addition to these pavers, permeable pavement can be obtained by using a highly porous material, such as pervious concrete or pervious asphalt.

Chip seal layers gravel and a liquid bitumen one at a time on-site, while asphalt directly pours a pre-combined mixture. Asphalt must be sealed, but it will last up to four times as long as chip seal driveways. Aesthetically, chip seal has a natural, rustic look compared to the traditional asphalt slab.

While water-related pressure caused by poor drainage is one common cause of paver cracking, other factors can include ground movement beneath pavers, heavy loads and wear and tear over the pavers, and climates with constant freeze-thaw cycles. In general, pavers should be resealed every three to five years to prevent cracking.

Pavers will crack in a fire pit if they are made of the wrong materials. Be sure to use kiln-fired brick paver stones when building your backyard fire pit. You can also purchase a fire pit project kit, which will sometimes come with fire-safe pavers, to help you avoid the guessing game of buying pavers separately.
