"My wife and I remodeled our bathroom in December 2017. Because we needed a tile installer, we went to Home Advisor and chose Witmer Tile to tile the shower and bathroom floor. About a year ago, I noticed water stains on the ceiling tiles in my office/man cave. As I continued to watch over the next several months, the stains became worse and the footprint of the shower became more prominent on the ceiling tiles. To notify Scott Witmer and utilize the warranty he provided for his work, I called Witmer Tile on February 5, 2020. I was informed he was in New York working and that he would return my call when he returned the following week. After receiving no return call, I texted Scott directly on March 14 with no reply. On April 16 I sent Scott pictures of the damaged ceiling, receiving a response on April 27 that he would try to look at it. Again he did not follow through with his promise to contact me nor did he honor his warranty. My final attempt to get Witmer Tile to honor their warranty was on May 5. Again I received a promise he would look at the problem when he got back from Wilkes Barre. To date, I have received no response, and now the porcelain plank floor tiles are coming loose. What recourse do I have? I am notifying Home Advisor of his failure to stand behind his warranty and work."
