"I regret giving over $80k to this contractor. Jim, Chase and all others did shotty work in my home and now their work needs to be redone by a professional. Even after things stopped working I called them back and no one came out or contacted me to fix it. My window frames and baseboards were installed improperly as well as my electrical. My flooring is lifting and new stairs installed weren’t even nailed in properly, my husband nearly broke his hip on the stairs. I wish I could take it all back and never would’ve trust them."

When the estimator came he explained what would be done to eliminate water issue. When we asked how does water get removed outside and how they would undermine stairs and walls he simple stated the installers will go over that with you when they come. The installers said they would be channeling under the step and walls, which are only 2 1/2 inch walls. The last step was also a simple channel as well. More time consuming perhaps, when you charge $3000.00 more than another contractor, homeowners are believing they are getting a professional job! They cut her stair runner instead of peeling it back so it could be glued back down. she needs replace whole runner now and company could care less including there estimator! sheetrock replacement also more expensive because took a hammer to the walls instead of saw zall,nice straight lines! also have photos."

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Rather than placing supportive piers under your structure, these involve pumping a material under your slab to lift a sunken section back into its original position. Polyjacking, in particular, is sometimes a suitable solution for stabilization issues under slab foundations, but underpinning is often accepted as the best and most permanent solution.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.
