"mike young did a beyond professional job, he paved my shop driveway and cut me a deal on seal coating my house driveway as well, a group full of hard working young men family owned and operated. Will be using them again if needed & DEFINITELY recommend!"

"Brian is extremely nice and easy to work with. I requested a quote and within 10 minutes he called me and set up a time to come look at my driveway the next day. He arrived on time and quoted me a great price to clean, fill cracks and seal the asphalt. I agreed to the price and he came the very next morning and did a fantastic job. Whether you should resurface or replace your asphalt driveway heavily depends on its condition. If the foundation is solid and the damage is minor, resurfacing is your best bet because it’s more affordable and faster than replacing the driveway. But if your driveway has foundational problems and/or severe damage, like large, deep cracks and potholes, then it makes more sense to replace it. 

Driveway aprons typically range between four and seven inches thick, though your town's building codes will likely have specific requirements. Additionally, you may need to add a layer of permeable aggregate in the excavation below your paved apron to ensure proper stormwater drainage.

An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.

When asphalt cures, it typically changes from a very dark black hue to a lighter, more matte gray color. Cured asphalt also won’t be tacky or sticky to the touch or emit any odors from the asphalt mix. Additionally, the surface of fully cured asphalt won’t deform under any pressure.
