The 6 men arrived at 8 a.m and left at 3p.m. The boss worked only part of the time. He dealt with an unexpected opening about 2ft by 2ft. in the dry wall after a mirror was removed by offering to replace the missing drywall, which he said would be an extra $80.00 Then he left for about an hour and returned with the materials. The job he did was just ok., but it was a relief to me to have the job done.

 If he had looked over the job done in the small bathroom, he would've seen the large number of spots where some paint had rolled and left marks on the wall. They did part of the area that I pointed out, but not another part. As it was, I had to face 6 men who had cleaned up everything and had their coats on and were ready to leave when I started to look everything over. They responded to some of the things I mentioned, but the pressure was on me to let them go.

I think really good painters would have looked over their work as it was going on to fix the paint spills before they declare the job finished.

The boss  has a gift for promising a lot is included when he comes to look over a job,but since it's not written down, or  signed, I was just left with my notes and my memory.

At the end, since I was not happy with the job, he said he wouldn't charge the money I owed him for the dry wall he'd filled in. I hired someone else to do the stuff that hadn't been done, and used the money that way. I would've preferred that the painters take care of it at the time, since I had new wall to wall carpeting installed a couple of days after the paint job. After that, I spent the money he had "saved" me by hiring someone to do the things Master Brush had left undone.

When I get the outside of the house painted, I will insist on getting references, which the Master Brush owner

 declined to provide.

Estimation process: Mike from Papa's Painting came to give the estimate a few days after I contacted them, had suggestions as to color, materials needed for some repairs and products that would enhance the look of the house. He explained the process, length of time needed to complete the job and when they could start. He met every deadline. Painting: Mike, Brandon, Brian and Phil worked on our job. They arrived every morning, worked for the entire day and did a beautiful job power washing, scraping, priming and painting the house. They asked questions if necessary. "Timothy was extremely professional and a very positive person to have in our home. He immediately impressed me as the only painter that measured all the walls and spaces before giving me a detailed estimate with a breakdown of the work in each separate area. We gladly paid the $1650 deposit in mid-April to schedule his time required for the job, and waited for our turn in his busy schedule in mid-June. His Office Manger was very professional and kept us to date, all estimates were emailed and all documentation was very detailed. When the job directly before us finished faster than expected, we were glad to have him begin the work about a week early. He began removing the wallpaper in the Powder Room and then moved through the Entryway area in a very efficient manner. He worked multiple sections at a time, as one area dried, he was working on another wall. Tim expertly covered our hardwood floors and there was not one single drop off paint found on them.

Tim is a very positive person, who is extremely polite and I was very comfortable having him in my home, both alone with me and at times by himself. The finished product is truly amazing, as our neighbors came to see how it looked (our very wallpapered home was well known by the women in our neighborhood) They were shocked to see our entryway looked as if it had never been wallpapered at all.

The late date of this review is completely by my oversight; I crossed it off my project list by mistake. We look forward to working with Timothy's Painting for future projects.

"Marvin did a great job painting our entire interior (walls and ceilings for 3BR ranch, excluding the laundry room and closets) at a reasonable price. The quality of his work was very good -- even though our house was brand new, the builder's paint job was mediocre. Marvin sanded and patched areas, including the drywalled garage, and dealt with the flat paint that was originally used. It sucked up the new paint like crazy, but now there is such a nice light sheen on smooth walls everywhere. He was professional at all times, worked quietly (a plus since we work from home) and cleaned up after every visit. Our job required a little more than a week's worth of work, so as an individual contractor on a few occasions Marvin had to reschedule or change his start time. If you have the flexibility, though, it was well worth any schedule adjustments."

"it went wonderfully.well. The painters Nate and his associates were absolutely wonderful. Most of the work was done by Tom and his assistant and they were professional and thorough. All the wallpaper was scraped off and sanded. There were some areas where an unknown glue was used and it took additional time for proper removal, but it was perfect..the baseboards were removed and this was quite difficult since they were screwed into metal studs in the wall. All defects were repaired, the painting and cutting in was perfect. The Doors and jams were painted and one bathroom door was completely stripped and refinished because of damage from steam. It turned out perfectly. They arrived on time, worked hard and were extremely pleasant. The rooms looked fantastic when they were finished. I think their price was very reasonable and the workmanship was excellent. I would not hesitate for one minute to recommend them to anyone. Fabulous job!

"Fantastic! They spent 4 hours total - 1 hour removing the paper and 3 hours prepping the walls so they could be painted. The walls were completely smooth and ready to be painted when they were finished. They were prompt, clean, courteous and professional."

"Ron and Jay returned my phone calls promptly, arrived on time and were kind enough to remove their shoes at the door. They initiated minor plaster repair and were unable to sand it smooth because it had not dried sufficiently by the time they wanted to finish. The work was completed in three and one half hours with minimal spatter and overflow on the carpet edge in only one small area. The painting was very well done and I have ask the to return for another project. I will however, have any spackling done ahead of time so that can dry and be properly sanded."

Yes!! Book this vendor if you need any interior house painting!!

I had the kitchen (walls, trim, ceiling) Living and Dining room (walls and trim). Entry hall way ( walls, ceiling and trim)  Stairs and upper landing ( walls, celling and trim) plus basement entry and stairs ( walls and ceiling) plus 6 windows trim that were in  terrible condition. They now look good as new!! They did such an awesome job and even repaired the  lousy plaster job previous done by another vendor for plaster repair. I was going to move all the furniture, but, before I could, they were already out the house , prepping and moving all my stuff (.. and I had A LOT of stuff !!)  They were so good, that  I had them prime and paint  walls, ceiling and trim for two additional bathrooms. I will have them come again to paint the master and 1 kid bedroom next month. They did a great job cleaning after themselves too!!

They were very professional and did a fantastic job!  Nice guys too! I had 4 estimates and found them very reasonable !  I would definitely recommend them  to anyone. Just an added note- My Husband is very hard to please when it comes to  house services- and he too was very please!
