"I highly recommend Bath Pro. We had a full shower installed along with a new vanity, counter top, over the toilet cabinet, medicine cabinet and light fixture. The products are all high quality. They were very professional, clean and efficient. We are totally satisfied with our new bathroom."

"Dom came out to fix my leaky toilet. Replaced the wax rings, but the leak persisted. He and another plumber came back the next day and determined the supply line was also leaking, so he fixed that as well. Happy with the work!"

"Last month (December 2020) we had West Shore replace two bathroom on our second floor shower/tub areas in one day! They were 20 years old and were still functional but needing updating. They sent two excellent crews one for the master bath & one for the guest bathroom. In the master Mario & Dave removed a small shower stall, capped the piping and added sheetrock which will become a closet. They also removed an oval tub and replaced it with a 3' x 5' walk-in shower with sliding doors. The shower area also has a 4' x 4' glass block window to complicate the remodel. That was a lot of work for two guys in one day! In the guest they (sorry I can't remember there names) removed a tub/shower combo and replaced with a new surround and a very comfortable tub/shower. Both crews did a fantastic job working 9:30 straight to get it done. Removing all debris from our home and leaving it spotless. They were on time, neat, respectful, well mannered and answered every question we had in detail. All were very nice guys and very personable. We can't say enough good things about the quality of workmanship, materials, finished look and staff! We would highly recommend West Shore to remodel your bathroom project! Subsequently, everyone who has seen the finished project have had glowing comments about the look and finish details! One friend is a plumber and he remarked that it would have take he and his assistant a week to do what West Shore did in a day!"

Reliant gas lines is a natural gas service line repair or replacement company. I handle the buried portion of the service line from curb stop to meter and the buried house line if the meter is far away from the house. \n I do a good job at a fair price, am qualified for both Peoples Gas and Columbia Gas and fully insured. \n As a small owner operator business I can be flexible on scheduling as these types of problems tend to be emergencies. While in business for myself just a short time now I have over 15 years of experience in the natural gas industry involving repair and replacement of gas mains and service lines.

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

You should never pour antifreeze down the drain or outside on the ground. Because it's highly toxic, antifreeze can still impact people and animals long after it drains. Antifreeze can contaminate water and sewage systems, and any that gets into storm drains and water supplies can attract animals and harm those that ingest it.

Yes, ammonia does damage pipes if used or disposed of improperly. Although ammonia-based cleaners are commonly used to unclog drain pipes, they either come already diluted or instruct the user to dilute them before use. Otherwise, undiluted ammonia is too caustic and could corrode certain plumbing types, such as PVC.

This depends on how old your home is and residential construction norms where you live. Most modern homes have outdoor shut-off valves, but many older homes have the water meter indoors. You're most likely to find this valve in the basement or utility closet if it's indoors. If you have an outdoor shut-off valve, it should be somewhere on the perimeter of your home.

Baking soda and vinegar is a great solution for cleaning your sink drain; in fact, it’s our preferred method. Here’s how to unclog your drain with baking soda and vinegar: Pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar, and let the two bubble for 15 minutes. Then rinse out with boiling water. This method is much safer than using a chemical drain cleaner gel.

After flushing the toilet, you should have about half a tank full of water. While the exact amount of water you’ll have will vary, you want to make sure you have enough to cover the bottom of the bowl and enough to sit above the P-trap drain. While low water in your toilet bowl can indicate a problem, too much water can also be cause for concern.
