The plumber on site was great. It was an ominous job and he made quick and very thorough work of it. It was very expensive, though. Kwaitkowski told the plumber on site to charge me $595.00 for the three hours of work unscrewing everything. I needed the job done and the plumber did a good job, but it felt like the owner was ripping me off. I would have happily paid $300 but $600 is outrageous.

They got in touch immediately and set up an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately they got held up on a job so we postponed for a day. Showed up on time - gave us a price that was a bit higher than we got from a previous company ( who wasn’t available) When the gentleman said he could do the work that day - we took it. He removed the old vanities - replaced old plumbing and set up the new ones. Cleaned everything up and took the old vanities to dispose of them. Everything looks great and works great. We’re completely satisfied with the work and work recommend.

Richard was great. There was a leak and he advised me what I needed to do. The water company came out. Richard came back and replaced the valve and he was fantastic. He was very responsive and personal. He was terrific. He worked very had to resolve the issue. Price is very reasonable.

Other companies prices are triple the amount of Kwiatkowski Plumbing. They are very reasonably priced and do great work. The owner even came out to assist with completing the job. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

Two days after they did work the tank was leaking again. I called them back and they said I now needed a new hot water tank and it would be another $1750. They offerred to take $100 off since they did that other waor 2 days prior. I did not let them do any more work after this quote.

It took a puzzling 6 hours -including a trip to Home Depot 4 miles away to purchase parts- to replace 4 pop-up stoppers (1 tub, 3 sinks), even though the job presented only minor difficulties, if any. The original quote was $250 per sink, assuming a whopping $100 for each part. Although the stoppers ended up costing only $30 each, not $100, the final charge was not adjusted to $180, as it obviously should have been. Just ridiculously overpriced. In fact, the same plumber gave me a $925 quote to replace an easily accessible drum trap in the basement, which I rejected. The job was done by another company for $400.

The technician came and spent hours cutting out the iron pipe and putting in a new one, however, he cracked our walls doing so and the leak was not fixed. He left the pipe elbow going into the toilet and that was the part that was leaking. He had somewhere else he rather be and rushed through the job and left. When we realized that the leak was not properly fixed and called, we were told that was all that they were going to do. My husband and I spent 12 hours and a visit to Home Depot fixing it ourselves! $1800 and no solution + 12 hours of our own time! NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

"This is in response to the complaint that was filed on July 24, 2013 for a job completed on October 3, 2005. Removing and replacing a 4inch, cast iron soil stack requires a great deal of force and effort. At this particular job, their walls were made of plaster, a very brittle material that easily cracks when any force or vibration travels through it. Prior to any work beginning the client was informed of any possible risk and challenges that may ensue due to our proceedings and that Kwiatkowski Plumbing would not be held responsible for these complications. In regards to the leak in question, our technician would have never left the job nor would Kwiatkowski Plumbing have been compensated by the client if the work had not been completed on the agreed terms. Kwiatkowski Plumbing has an A+ rating with the Better Business Borough and we continuously strive for excellence. We apologize for any dissatisfaction you may have had but Kwiatkowski Plumbing will not be besmirched by such inaccurate and incongruous accusations."

Most recently I received an estimate from them on doing some re-plumbing for the Main bath which is being repaired/restored after a leaky pipe caused us to rip up the entire bathroom floor. We got an estimate from them of $6,000. Unfortunately, the insurance company was only paying $10,000 for the entire project (including repairing the damaged ceiling and beams downstairs) and I couldn't spend over half of it on the plumbing. I had to go with someone else - who did an adequate job but who was definitely less responsive and thorough than Kwiatkowski. They were also half the price. If you want the best and are prepared to pay for it - use Kwiatkowski. If you're on a budget, they may be too expensive. Price is the only reason I can't give them an overall rating of A. I am totally satisfied with their service. Unfortunately, their prices seem to keep rising and I'm not sure I can afford to keep using them.

I called for an appointment and Kwiakowski sent a plumber the same day. Rob arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He kept me informed throughout the repair. He worked at a very steady pace. Part of the kitchen ceiling had to be torn down for the repair. He left my kitchen spotless. I am a customer for life.
