"I am an extremely dissatisfied customer.This job has too many mistakes to go into them all.They were willing to repair a few of them like siding coming off,nail under siding and trimming off some J channel.They were not willing to even admit to other mistakes such as uneven corners,siding that doesn’t match on both sides of windows, siding that is not level or cut short or missing above window.As for the roof I found out it’s cut short,seals were missing and rake edges are installed improperly.This job is a total failure (beware of looks good from road) I decided to trust this guy from the start.What a mistake that was.He told he was rated #5 on Angie’s list and I didn’t check till after he trashed my house. I couldn’t find any rating for him although their were some reviews.He had good reviews but last 2 were in 2015 and not good at all."

I called and talked to John, who gave me a competitive quote, and we set up an appointment two days later. Eric and Jerry showed up on time and in about an hour, they replaced the boots around the vent pipes, sealed them, sealed around the chimney, and also sealed a dozen or more nail pops in the roof that they found while inspecting it. They showed before and after pictures of all the work. They were extremely nice and professional. Although I hope to never have a roof leak again, I'll certainly call Roof Repair Experts again when I do!"

A garage door should last 30 years, give or take, before it needs replacing, so your panels should last for around that long as well. However, you should replace your garage door panels sooner if the door doesn’t function smoothly if one of the panels gets visibly damaged, or if an issue with a panel is creating a security issue.

A prefab, or prefabricated garage, requires far less construction work than one with a foundation and frame, but it’s not nearly as desirable and may not be a worthwhile option. A prefabricated garage won’t be as durable or long-lasting, and it doesn’t provide the same protection for your belongings and vehicles. Plus, you can use a standard garage for more uses—like living space—whereas a prefab garage only serves as a space for storage. Lastly, building a traditional garage will add to your home value, while a prefab garage usually won’t.

Garages are often equipped with lighting, electrical boxes, and sometimes even heating and cooling, while carports rarely have utilities. A garage is an enclosed structure that can lock and usually has an automatic door. A carport is often wood or plastic and is designed only to protect a car from elements like rain, snow, and hail. Carports are commonly seen on property where an attached garage is unfeasible but can be a cost-effective solution for car protection for anyone without a completed garage. 

As with anything you buy, be wary of prices that seem too good to be true. Some low-cost flooring products can contain chemicals that release harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the form of fumes that can be inhaled or dust that can cause skin conditions.
