"Excellent work at a fair price. Punctual and professional. Respectful of property and requests. Most people will stop reading at this point, but I suggest you continue for a brief example of how qenuine Ryan is. While he was here doing the job, I was helping an elderly neighbor remove a fallen tree from their yard when the tire on my pull behind lawn cart blew. Not only did Ryan offer to help me fix the cart but he helped me unload and stack the wood free of charge and still finished the job on schedule. A true stand up young man."

"The owner, Phil, did an excellent job explaining all the details of the removal and installation of my new fence. His estimate of price and duration was spot-on. He offered a very good price that was almost half the price of other estimates that I received. His workers were very professional, personable, and did a superb job from start to finish. The fence looks amazing. I will be hiring Phil to do other work on my house in the near future."

"First let me say I wish there was a way to separate the management from actual workers. As for the workers Steve and Brian I would give them both A++++++. When they arrived I was quite abrupt with Steve explaining my frustration with the owner. He was extremely polite and listened then went to work with Brian. He said he understood and I should call the owner to tell him my issues. When Brian and Steve were done they had gone way beyond what i expected them to get done. Considering it took 30 days and several e-mails, phone calls and messages to finally have the job done Steve and Brian were able to do a lot. I feel the job became harder because of the time it took to schedule . If they would have come sooner they probably would have been able to complete the job. I now understand that Shaun, the owner was in the hospital. I sincerely hope he gets better and has a full recovery. I think that the management part of Maust Landscaping should take a serious look at how the projects are booked so that further frustration like this doesn't occur."

"They were fantastic. They were polite and kind to our whole family including my young son. They literally spent all day on our yard. So we had a different company do the same work last year and they were awful, but this group had a great attention to detail, our bushes were spotless, took all the leaves off our property. We couldn't be happier. We will be using them in the future for all our landscaping needs, thanks!"

"The entire experience with Faodail was truly one of the best I have had when it comes to hiring someone to do work around the yard. Cole and his team came out the same day to provide a quote. He arrived before the scheduled time and provided a professional opinion and quote. I hired him based on a very fair price. He scheduled the day at my convenience. Cole and his team arrived early in the morning on the scheduled day. The weeded and edged all the beds before putting down the mulch. They put down a generous layer of mulch around every exposed part of dirt, even to the wall in an area that is quite large. The price was beyond fair and I know there is no way I could have done the work at the price he charged! Cole and his team left my yard looking better than when they arrived with spotless clean up and removal of all debris. Cole was super friendly and helpful and they practiced safe distancing and wore masks the whole time. I would recommend Faodail to anyone looking for great service at a great price!!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

Government regulations such as the EPA and OSHA govern lead removal procedures to ensure health and environmental safety during and after abatement.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.
