"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"Great job by Matt, Julian and Ryan R! One of the gutters - the highest one on the house - was very much clogged and in-need of a cleaning. The others were due, too. Professional, courtesy and prompt."

"We had a small job, only one side of our house needed power washed. House is over 80 years old and the brick needed cleaned. Rolling Suds was onsite quickly for an estimate and were able to schedule us within a week! The guys did a FANTASTIC job!! They were very polite and were working on rough ground as we are doing other excavating and repairs. This was the first time the brick was cleaned so there was a lot of buildup. Within 15 minutes, the guys had all the moss and mold buildup gone. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant. We are very pleased with their work and highly recommend Rolling Suds. If needed, we will use them again!"

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No—gutters should be designed and properly installed so they are ready to handle any level of rainflow from your roof. If you notice pooling water around your gutters or on the roof, it’s imperative that you contact a gutter repair pro near you—the slope of your gutters could be off and need adjusting.

Hiring a local gutter cleaner costs an average of $119 to $228. For many homeowners, it’s worth bringing in a pro to make sure there’s a regular cleaning schedule and that the job is done thoroughly. A pro can also inspect your gutters and roofline and flag any issues before you start experiencing costly mold, rot, or water damage.

Yes, you can use a pressure washer to effectively clean debris, dirt, and grime from your gutters, but it must be done with caution to avoid damage. Always use a low-pressure setting, with a recommended range between 1,200 and 1,800 PSI. Excessive pressure can bend or dent aluminum gutters, damage seams, peel paint, or even knock shingles off your roof, potentially leading to leaks and moisture issues. For a safer alternative, consider soft washing or cleaning them by hand. When using a pressure washer, it is safer to use gutter elbow extensions from the ground rather than climbing a ladder, as the force can cause instability. Due to the risks, you may want to hire a licensed and insured contractor for the job.

Yes, there are several downsides to installing rain chains. For one, rain chains have a lower flow capacity than a typical gutter and downspout system. This means that if there is a rainstorm, the rain chain can stop working completely. Rain chains also cannot redirect rainwater away from your house. In homes with a sloped yard, this could cause water damage in your foundation or basement.

Usually 1-2 hours, depending on gutter length and condition.
