"I recently had the pleasure of working with Erik from First State Ponds, and I can't recommend him enough. Erik traveled all the way from Delaware to Maryland to service my pond, which was having persistent issues with murky water. Before connecting with Erik, I had already been advised by another company to purchase a specific filter and pump. Thankfully, I found First State Ponds just in time. Erik took the time to explain that while the recommended filter might clear my water, it would require constant maintenance. He suggested a different filter and a stronger pump, but he was also willing to install the one I had already purchased if I preferred. I can building walls from scratch and finish them, I can build stairs, I can build fences, I can install new ceilings or repair old one, I can install or repair most plumbing issues, I can do basic electrical work from lights to switches and outlets. I can remodeling your entire bathroom to give you a new toilet, vanity, and shower. You name it i can do it, and if I cannot I will tell you what is out of my range of construction so as to not lie and do a terrible project for you.

Modern septic tanks have two lids: one that covers the inlet where wastewater flows into the tank and one that covers the outlet where the treated water flows out to the drain field. However, older septic tanks installed before 1975 may have only one lid. Because septic tanks last 20 to 40 years, if yours only has one lid, it may be time for a replacement.

Septic tanks appear full after pumping because the liquid levels have returned to normal. If you can see the pipe, the tank is empty. However, heavy rain can cause septic tanks to fill faster than normal. You might also have leaky pipes or faucets, causing extra water to drip down the drains and into the septic tank.

While the lifespan of your septic system will depend on a variety of factors, including how well you keep up with regular inspections and maintenance, it will eventually need replacement. But the reason why you don't need weekly pumping is because the tank's contents eventually reach the overflow pipe. They flow down this pipe to the absorption area whenever water is used in your home. The tank keeps working at this full level until it's pumped again.
