"They contacted me within 30 minutes of completing the request and came out the same day to provide me with a quote. They provided me with a reasonable estimated date when they would perform the work and were able to do the work a few days earlier than anticipated. They did a great job trimming the trees we discussed and thoroughly cleaned up the sticks and leaves afterwards. While here my neighbor asked for a quote and they did his work at the same time they did mine. My neighbor was waiting over 2 months for another contractor to come out that quoted him over twice as much.. They did an awesome job and I would use them again!"

"DiPhillipo's did a terrific job for us! The Team worked very hard, diligently, and meticulously. They removed/replaced shrubs and a tree, trimmed trees and shrubs, planted, edged, and did some stone work. They cleaned up beautifully. Everyone was friendly and professional. A great group of folks and a job well done! Tom (Owner) was in and out several times to assure our satisfaction. Thanks to each one of you!!"

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
