"This was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a contractor. We bought a house that needed significant work. I had several contractors in the house at the same time and they all worked well around each other. Redemption flooring owner is an honest and amazing human being. We got to know each other a bit over the course of the time it took to put hardwood floors down and later tile floors. Great personality, and just an all around great human being. Prices were reasonable and the work was emasculate !! Our floors loook fantastic!"

"I was very happy with the service provided. They were responsive, prompt and professional. They repaired leaking gutters on my 3rd story. One of the leaks was successfully repaired the first visit. They inquired about the service and when I told them the 2nd gutter was still leaking they set up a visit for the following week. Once I confirmed that it was fixed I was asked to pay the remaining balance. The price was definitely right and service exceptional."

Customers say: True professional

"They came out right away gave an estimate and completed the work when we called back. They figured out a way that was easier and less labor intensive and less work to be done on other floors. Super impressed with the quality of work. Was a bit pricey, but the craftsmenship shows just how well they know wood floors! Would def use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

"They took care not to damage my brand new hard wood floors, was knowledgeable about how to install shiplap etc. Paul also worked with my schedule which, I appreciated. Great to work with. I called them back after installing my ceiling to hang a microwave. Will use again in the future!"

"I contacted HM when they were offering 20% off labor. A previous contractor had put tile up in my bathroom with the tiles too close together and the grout wouldn't stay in place (this is 15 years later.)  I can't say enough about Erin and how patient she was with me (I changed my mind quite a bit :).  She made several trips to my home to discuss options. My original thought was I wanted to get something that would blend with my existing tile, since it was on the walls in the bathroom as well as the tub area and I didn't have the funds to do the entire bathroom. I had planned on doing a vinyl surround but another contractor I received an estimate from introduced me to Swanstone, but I couldn't find anything I liked other than stark white to go with the existing tile (and I didn't like the guy's attitude.) When I mentioned that to Erin, she said she didn't care for Swanstone and there were other options.  Erin and I must have done the same search on "alternatives to Swanstone" because we both found Onyx.  She and I both ordered the small samples that the vendor offers and pretty soon I decided that's what I wanted.  Erin felt Onyx was a superior quality to the Swanstone, and actually became of vendor for Onyx so she could do my bathroom.  I was still having a very hard time deciding exactly what I wanted and she asked one deciding question - do you want it to look like you did something - do you want it to make a statement and the answer was "yes."  So, blending in with the existing tile went out the door and I chose a contrasting color that still went with my bathroom.  Ricky was the one who came up with the perfect solution of removing some of the old tiles so that it looked good, and no tiles would be right up against the new Onyx.  Since this was their first install of this product we did have a bit of a learning curve so I was their "guinea pig."  We did go a bit over budget and the final estimate I had received.  I know they did not bill me for all the hours worked and I did order some additional trim during the install, so the cost of the additional trim and the labor to install that were I'm sure a big part of the amount over the estimate they provided. I understand they have installed at least two more systems since mine, so they are experts now!
Ricky was punctual and professional (even when my neighbors called the cops on him because he was sitting outside my house in a white van and I wasn't home yet :)
Bottom line is my bathroom is beautiful.  I still have some future work to do with flooring and vanity, but this has made such a HUGE difference.  People who have seen it compare it to a bathroom in a high-end hotel."

"My new bathroom looks like a million bucks. They took a 1980s worn out earth tones bland bathroom and turned it into something that looks like its from the movies. I love it. It was a major reno. Had them remove the tub and they built a floor to ceiling tiled walk in shower for me. A wall was out of plumb and they fixed it. Raised the shower head and for the first time in my adult life I dont have to bend over to wash my hair. Barry, my project manager was very nice, explained things in a way I could follow and was always available when I called. Could not be happier with the process and outcome. Ill be calling them in the future to do my other bathroom and kitchen. Id recommend them to anyone reading this review."

"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Your room doesn’t need to be completely empty to restretch a carpet, but you’ll need enough space that you can move around furniture to access the wrinkled areas and the wall where you’re reattaching the carpet. A contractor will move your furniture out of the way before they start the job, but you can save money by moving your furniture before they arrive.

Most people realize it is time to replace the padding when the carpet loses springiness or feels thin and unsupportive. Other telltale signs are lumps or dips in the carpet that could look unattractive or cause tripping hazards. Similarly, if your carpet is making a crinkly sound or starting to wear out prematurely, you might need to replace your padding.

There are a couple of color options to consider when installing carpet in high-traffic areas (like entrances and stairways). Medium-toned colors and patterned carpets can work well in these parts of your home because dirt and stains can blend in easily. Dark carpets will also conceal marks and spills, but they show lint and other light-colored debris. Consider a medium brown or tan for your high-traffic areas. Either way, it’s best to avoid paler shades, like white and cream, which get dirty easily.

The average cost to install hardwood flooring is $4,700. While this is more than double the average cost of installing a new carpet and removing your old one, it has some significant advantages. Hardwood flooring might not be as cozy or soundproofing as carpets, but it's lower maintenance and way more durable. With the right care, hardwood floors can last a lifetime, whereas the average lifespan of a carpet is 10 years.

Avoid placing carpet in the bathroom or the kitchen. After all, moisture is no friend to carpeting. Beyond that, it’s down to personal preference. Some people dislike when a garage or basement features carpet, but others enjoy it.
