Terrible experience from start to finish. Came back to fix mistakes only to make so many more causing a 6-8 week project to take 8 months and still not happy with the work, but its the best they can do.

We had Home Pros Remodeling of Central Pa remodel our kitchen in 2020 and were thrilled with the design by Andrea Woodall and knew we would hire them back to remodel 2 bathrooms. Andrea's design and product choices were perfect for our home again. We had 1 full bath and a powder room. We ended up with 2 full baths and again are thrilled with the final product. The project started 2 months earlier than expected which is unheard of in the construction business and was completed on time. From our kitchen remodel to now they hired some great people, adding Terrell in customer service was a smart move as he is a great communicator. Mark, the project manager, Kevin the project foreman, Rahn the plumber and all others that worked on this project were professional, dependable, gave us suggestions and just good people. And then Lee came to do final painting touch ups and his work and his work ethic was amazing. I work in the construction industry and am very aware that most construction projects come with issues, I am happy to say this one had very few.

Let me begin by saying, Nate, the project manager was terrific. Had a lot of *correcting* mistakes that were made. As far as the team leader that started the project, he was fired after 2 weeks on the job. Nice guy, just should not have been the lead due to inexperience. End result was very nice, but not without a lot of re-doing things. Sorry to say, I would not recommend using them with friends or family.

Kitchen Remodel
When I called around to gather estimates, Andrea Woodall was the only one that didnâ t change her tone or tell me there was no way we could have everything we wanted in our kitchen with the budget we set. We wanted to remove walls and have our kitchen & dining room combined in to one large space with plenty of cabinetry. Andrea is super knowledgeable and super professional, she listened to me and made great suggestions. We didnâ t change one thing in her design. We were happy with the knowledge and enthusiasm of our Project Manager. She walked us through the whole process and tentative timing of the project. Things started off a little shaky and a bit unorganized but canâ t say enough good things about the crew that did the demo (which was gross), support beam, and getting ceiling & walls ready for drywall. Alex, Bob & Kenton worked hard and cared about our kitchen. Also, Rudy had to work hard to get the electric, heating & plumbing right. Heâ s a super upbeat, likeable & nice guy to be around. Our Project Manager, for personal reasons, had to step down. Nate was assigned to take over our project and communication and scheduling improved. He kept things moving forward. He seemed to have a ton on his plate already but took good care of us. Nate is a good representative of Home Remodeling Pro (even though heâ s a cowboyâ s fan ð ). We are ecstatic with the results! At least once every day I say, â I canâ t believe this is our kitchenâ . This is a big â thank youâ to Mike Wynn & Rich for their excellent workmanship. We will have Home Remodeling Pro back in a year or so for a bathroom renovation.

We hired Home Remodeling Pros for a major renovation of our first floor, to include a new kitchen. They were amazing. The customer service was wonderful, they showed up every day and finished on time. They were flexible to our needs and addressed any concern we had promptly. We will definitely use them again. We ve been really enjoying the finished product during quarantine! Andrea, Barry, and Chad were Aweome! Highly recommend!

Very Professsional. They were initially little late to start the project due to some changes in the company but gave me a good estimate and finished the work relatively on time once started. Work was done right at the end which mattered the most to me. Katrina was great, very approachable, kept us on the loop all the time and came to inspect the project a few times when it was being done. Rest of the crew members were nice as well. Also got a good value compared to other quotes I had recieved for the same project.

Overall, we had an excellent experience with Home Remodeling Pros of Central PA and we would absolutely recommend the company to others and even more importantly, re-hire again for our own future projects. The renovation started within the expected time-frame and all of the workers were wonderful. Very friendly, very neat, very talented and most importantly, they were mindful of our rambunctious dog and careful not to let him out! We were impressed with the quality of the workmanship and our final results are absolutely amazing. Home Remodeling Pros helped us change our closed off, dark and dated kitchen into a truly beautiful, bright and modern space that is an absolute amazing place to spend time. There aren't words to adequately express the nightmare that was our experience with this company. We signed our contract 1st week of March 2019 with a promise of start end of April and finish mid May. Every single thing told to us prior to contract signing never happened. Communication was awful, we even had to contact them to get our project started (3 weeks late). Communication continued to be awful throughout the project. A permit was not secured prior to project starting, and was only secured after multiple questions & complaints. Our original PM was fired a month into our project and no one at the company ever seemed to get up to speed on our project, no one ever knew what still needed to be done or what they had contracted to do for us. Even when they were trying to "fix" their mistakes, we still dealt with no shows from the higher ups in the company and weeks and weeks of no work or progress. In the end our project wasn't ever fully completed, they refunded us for that, and the 1st refund check bounced and caused us a lot of trouble and fees from our bank- which the company has yet to pay us for. Our project which should have been done by June wasn't done until OCTOBER!! For the most part quality has been good, and aside from some bad paint spots and a bowed baseboard we are happy with the finished product. It just shouldn't have taken so long, or been such a nightmare or hassle when dealing with Home Remodeling Pros of Central PA. It was a shock to have this be our experience after all the research we had done and reviews we had read, so we just wanted to put our honest review out there- buyers beware.

We are happy to complete anything that remains undone (not sure what you are referring to). You do have a five year labor warranty as you know. The project went off process when it was communicated that we could not do the bedrooms you wanted due to lack of egress. We have used your experience to learn and improve. If you are willing to wait MONTHS to get your project started, and WEEKS for it to be finished then these are your people. Brought them on for a decent sized bathroom remodel (not huge but not little) and it took months for them to give me a date for when they were getting started. The first week of remodeling seemed to go well, and then there was the issue of inaccurate measuring of the vanity drawers, I was told they would be in the following Monday. That was not the case - a week later and I'm still waiting with no word. My 7-10 day remodel (which when started I was told would be 3-4 days) turned into a HUGE cluster. My toilet has been leaking water all over the new floor, and now I have a lovely wet spot on the wall opposite of where the sink is to go. To make everything better that wet spot has mold growing on it. Dennis who installed everything has been amazing throughout this ordeal but when I reached out to the company about these issues, it gets passed on to someone else. This has been the most frustrating and anger inducing 3 weeks of my life and the project is STILL not done. I highly finding someone else to do whatever project and save yourself the Xanax from the stress you will inevitably encounter. I would have left all if I could, but the contractor who has actually been doing the work has been the only positive of this experience.

As for the *leak*, as you are aware it is actually a preexisting condition of condensation on your commode due to very cold well water and humid, hot conditions that exist in bathrooms.
