"Owner Gary ( very pleasant person)and his workers installed 100 feet PVC fence and arbor. They were very professional, knowledgeable and polite workers; it was a pleasure to have a deal with them. They did a good job and cleaned after themselves. It took them around 4 weeks from the first meeting to end of installation including almost 2 weeks waiting for factory manufacturing my multicolor fence and arbor.I specifically postponed this review from October 2018 when they installed my fence, to see a quality their job during a prolonged time and especially winter. I would definitely will hire Gary’s team again!"

"We had cracks in the dyed mortar of the bricks above our garage. Grady took the time to match the color, even with the color having aged 10 years, and you would not even be able to tell that there was new mortar. If your project is anything like ours, you will not be disappointed."

"They are very good and the mechanic is good. I paid a deductible and I had an extended warranty; the repairs were somewhere around $1,300. They are very knowledgeable and seemingly very honest. If something is not right after they have done it, they make it right. They give me a ride home if they have to keep the car. They are very well qualified and keep up on all the latest technologies."

"Did not use coupon because type of work was not needed at the time. However, they were very prompt to contact me upon my purchase of the coupon. Their rep who came out to do estimates was courteous and knowledgeable about concrete and stucco repairs and chimney masonry."

Welding questions, answered by experts

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Yes, you can cut up a box spring., but you’ll need to do so in layers. You can clear the fabric and fluff away to reveal the springs before removing them as well.

Professional metal fabricators typically charge around $70 per hour, but the total cost of your project will depend on several factors. The largest cost drivers are the size, complexity, and design of the project, as well as the price and type of metal used. A good way to estimate the total cost is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four; typically, one-quarter of the total goes toward materials and three-quarters toward labor. Your geographic location can also influence costs, as labor and material prices vary by region.

The cost to weld aluminum averages about $14 to $22 per pound. The type of metal factors into the overall cost of any welding project due to the cost of the materials and the expertise required to work with it. Some of the most common metals used by welders include:

  • Magnesium alloy: $7–$16 per pound

  • Low-carbon steel: $11–$12 per pound

  • Stainless steel: $13–$15 per pound

  • Copper/brass: $24–$29 per pound

  • Cast iron: $38–$79 per pound

  • Titanium: $60–$85 per pound

Cutting rectangular ductwork requires careful measurements and the right technique. Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the cutting lines accurately. Tin snips are excellent for straight cuts on smaller ducts. For more extensive or thicker rectangular ducts, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade is effective.

Ensure the duct is well-supported and secure while cutting to prevent wobbling and maintain precision. After cutting, use a metal file to smooth any sharp edges, ensuring safety during installation.
