"The owner Andrei of Mid-Atlantic Roofing & Siding came out and I explained to him what happened and he said he needed to go up on the roof after I showed him in the house where it was leaking. Andrei asked me if I would go on the roof so he could show me what was wrong. Go to find out that the person that did our roof 6 years ago didn't do the flat roof correctly and didn't use the correct material. Andrei explained everything that he needed to do to fix the leak. I also asked Andrei to look at our chimney where we were told we needed the cement on the top of the chimney repaired and go to find out that it was cracked in 5 places along with flashing work they did that was not correctly installed. Andrei fixed the roof leak along with sealing the cement on the top of the chimney. I would recommend Mid-Atlantic Roofing & Siding to any one that needs there roof repaired or replaced."

"Russell Roofing came out to look at roof where leaking and took a month to get a quote - got a quote for a full roof replacement that was really high (more than $16k for 800 sf flat roof). I requested a cost breakdown and to see if quote could be adjusted based on only the services we needed and never got a response back. The person also recommended a black roof but Phila code requires reflective roof."

He said our roof didn't need to be done this year--that it still had a couple years life left. However, our gazebo roof, which was in bad shape needed replacing. They scheduled the job quickly. The crew came and did an excellent job! The gazebo roof looks great and surrounding area was left as clean as it was found. "We met first with Sam who was upfront about what needed to be done and wrote the contract the way we wanted so that there would be no surprises during the installation. Sam provided some additional carpentry work and guaranteed the price even if there was additional work needed. The crew arrived as promised at 8 am on Monday. They were incredible! By nightfall, they had removed both layers of roofing, installed all-new plywood decking, repaired rafters, added roof supports, and completed the project including clean-up. We were impressed with Nick and Donny who supervised the project. Sam kept in touch with us throughout the day. The next day they sent Miguel who vacuumed the attic and did some additional work. So far, I haven't found one nail or scrap on the property, which was well-protected during the project. We interviewed 5 roofing companies and hoped we selected the right one - and we did. They did a quality job and provided an excellent warranty and judging from our experience so far they will respond quickly if there are any problems, which cannot be said for many companies doing this work. The final price was exactly what we signed up for, with no hassles. I highly recommend them."

"I hired Home Run Roofing to replace by roof and gutters, and I could not be more satisfied with the overall experience. They offered multiple options for my project, all of which were affordable and competitive. Reviewing and selecting a work estimate and applying for financing was a 2025 customer service experience (as opposed to a CS experience expected 10, 15, or 25 years ago), which in part distinguished them from other companies I met with. When I had any questions during the project it was very easy to reach my my contact at Home Run Roofing to answer my question. The crew assigned to the job were outstanding. The work was completed within two days (one day for the roof, the second for the gutters) and everything was thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. "So-so experience. Job was bid and performed in the depths of the recession - I think he priced it so low that he needed to cut corners. Plus: did job quickly, when scheduled. Old roof was removed with only medium amount of mess. New roof went on OK. He did an OK job installing a skylight in the new roof. Minus: He reused the old gutters, which I would not recommend anyone else do - they were pretty battered by the time they had been removed and replaced. Some of them still don't drain right. Here's the worst part: on the last day, one of his guys fell off the roof. My wife was in the dining room and saw him bounce off our back stairs and land on the grass. Fortunately, he didn't seem to be badly hurt, as he ultimately landed on boggy grass. However, Scheinfeld, when told about this, took more than an hour to show up, and the injured worker called us a few days later asking for our homeowner's policy info, thinking that we would be paying for his medical care - can you believe it? I run a small business and am very familiar with the concept of Workmen's Comp - no telling what was going on between Scheinfeld and his workers, but something seemed to be very, very wrong. A couple of our gutters still don't drain right, despite several calls to have them adjusted. But the roof no longer leaks."
