I had another contractor quote half, charge me in the end double (and what EL had quoted originally), and get it done months later then they claimed. The other contractor also had that they would replace trees that died within one year of planting in the contract, and then later told me "they'd rather not" and I had to chase after them for months. I switched to English Lane thereafter for maintenance and updates, and then did our backyard with English Lane. English Lane replaces trees that look like they won't make it without even asking, and made a set of flowers free that came later than expected. I can't express enough the awful experience with the other contractor, and how much I appreciated and became willing to pay for "no b*******" and "telling it as it is." Not only will I never go back to that other contractor, I will only going forward use English Lane."

"To say that our experience with D&N was a disaster is an understatement. Last July, we hired D&N to grade our yard, install french drains, and install a retaining wall and fence. When we met with D&N, we were told that this would be a quick job and should only take a few weeks. We then found out that they would be subcontracting our retaining wall. We were pleased, as our meeting was very professional. That's where it ended. Not only was it impossible to coordinate with their team, we were constantly told that they would be out to work and then wouldn't show up. A few months in, we find out that this is a side gig for they're team and they all have full time jobs. Fastforward to 8 months later, the job was "finished." During spring, we notice that the french drains are not working properly. When we reached out to D&N, we were told that they had nothing to do with it. Absolutely unprofessional. We've spent weeks fixing issues that should have been taken care of. Do not hire!"

After we moved into a new home, they’ve taken our weed filled, root laden yard and turned it into a green heathy lawn which they continue to kept neat and trimmed. We had an unusable area of the yard that was filled with rocks, mulch and weeds, which they turned it into a beautiful patio using pavers with a 10’x12’ finish. If you want the job done right with very reasonable pricing , I HIGHLY recommend these guys. They will get the job done!!"
