About us
We are a family owned and operated tree service in business since 1981. We are based out of Verona and operate with approximately 10 employees, no subs, so the work we do is our own and it is work we take pride in that brings repeat customers. Cost is determined by the job, so we send out the owner of BJ Tree, Scott Mack, to look at your job and give you free handwritten estimate. Scott will look at your yard and trees as if it all was his own. His wife Wendie, works in the office and ensures the best she can her husband's arrival and work crews' timeliness. We look only to please our customers and treat them like the family we work as.

Everything went very smoothly! They gave us a quote and removed the tree in a very timely manner! They communicated well and cleaned up after the project. It looks so much better with the tree gone. It was a tricky location, and they did amazing. We appreciate the hard work that went into taking our tree down! We would recommend and use again in the future!

Several years ago, i had my magnolia tree trimmed by the BJ crew who did a great job. This time around, there was more work and they all did a fantastic job. There was a large crew with some who trimmed lower branches, one who scaled the tree, trimming limbs higher up, and those who did the clean-up. They worked well together and one of the men had me walk the area to ask if everything was to my liking. I would certainly recommend this service to anyone needing this type of work done.

Scott and his team were punctual, professional, fair priced and simply great to deal with. We had some damage to our carport from a large downed branch. IN the process, Scott gave us estimates for two other projects. He arrived for both the estimate and the day of the work with his crew right on time. He and his crew were skilled, speedy and cleaned up perfectly. I can't stress enough how pleased we were with BJ's and would easily recommend him. It was good to work with a true professional.

BJ Tree was very good. I had a large branch hanging up in a Silver Maple. I called them, and they arranged a time to come out to do an estimate. They were very reasonable and did not try to up sell like other tree companies did,

They removed 1 small tree, trimmed 1 large tree, and trimmed several very large bushes. After they were done I asked them to re-trim 1 of the bushes even more, which they gladly did. They did a nice job of removing all the debris. I've employed BJ Tree Service in the past and I'd do so again.

The crew arrived slightly early - They knew what they were going to do and communicated well with us. Everything was completed in a couple of hours and they tidied up very well. I will use them again.

Quick consultation and estimate. Responded in January when the weather cooperated. Work completed in one visit and we were quite happy with the results.

Awesome! Professionalism at its finest. Teamwork that can't be beat. This is a 5 star company that knows how to get the job done right and what a job it was. Our trees were in a dangerous spot and location, and these tree specialists took tree topping and cutting to an art form. They were amazing at every level of the process. Work was done in one day. No damage to the privacy fence beside tree line (some trees were actually touching the fence). They brought two crews with trucks and chipper/shredder.

They were great, very efficient and I plan on using them again. I wasn’t there when they did it. I already have an appointment with them. What made me call them back again was the price mostly. I thought that it was a very fair price for what they needed to do. There were 4 trees and they were in a difficult location to get to. It’s not like they were just out in the middle of the lawn, they were hard to get to trees.

We use BJ tree service all the time. They are wonderful. It was very reasonable and our insurance covered it. They were very reasonable. We would use them again. We have used them before and we would use them again.
I think there were 3 guys including the man we talked to on the phone. They cleaned up very well, you would never have known it happened. They didn't have to do anything about cutting it back.

I called him one day and they were here the next day. They did a fantastic job. The fact that they responded so quickly is what stood out to me. They did the job very well and cleaned up very well. I think it was a fair price.

The work was on time. My wife was dealing with this, so I don?t want to say things that are or are not true. The only thing I can speak to is in terms of timing. I would probably give them ?A?s? for everything, but punctuality. I would give them a ?B?, just cause it took them a long time from the time that we had initially signed, given them the deposit to the time they could actually do the work. Otherwise everything else was fine.
It was cold, that?s all I remember, but the ground wasn?t frozen. They were going to wait till the ground froze, but the ground never really froze this year, because it had been such a warm winter. They couldn?t finish the tree work and I don?t know if they are ever going to be able to finish grinding the stumps. They did what we asked them to do. They cleared all the debris up, things were clean after we got home, without a mess.
