English Lane is fantastic. No-nonsense... gets done what they say they will, on time, at or under the price they quote, and the results are beautiful. I'm willing to pay for that. I had another contractor quote half, charge me in the end double (and what EL had quoted originally), and get it done months later then they claimed. The other contractor also had that they would replace trees that died within one year of planting in the contract, and then later told me "they'd rather not" and I had to chase after them for months. I switched to English Lane thereafter for maintenance and updates, and then did our backyard with English Lane. English Lane replaces trees that look like they won't make it without even asking, and made a set of flowers free that came later than expected. I can't express enough the awful experience with the other contractor, and how much I appreciated and became willing to pay for "no b*******" and "telling it as it is." Not only will I never go back to that other contractor, I will only going forward use English Lane.

My backyard was not touched for 9 months, and as a result completely overgrown with weeds and plant growth. Greg sent over 4 professionals (not college kids picked up on the way to the house) who transformed my backyard in a matter of hours. These guys were seasoned, talented gardening professionals, honed in their craft, and worth every penny of their hourly rate. I have found my new team and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to see what they do next.

Within 30 minutes of my initial call, Greg was here to assess the situation, estimate was received before the end of the day. Five days later the work was completed, quickly and efficiently. The crew returned this week to rake the straw out and reseed any spots that had not yet filled in. In less than a month my yard went from cracked dirt to lush green grass!

Have been very happy with their work. They turned our lawn around and made it the envy of the neighborhood. When we have had things that needed addressed, they have always been very responsive.

Greg and his team did an AMAZING job. It was everything I had hoped for and I love to see it in the spring and summer, although it looks good year round. This was our second attempt at getting the front yard right and Greg accomplished just what we wanted and saved my cherry trees that everyone else suggested I cut down. We have continued to use them for maintenance services and I could not be more pleased with our service.

Excellent work. All workers were very professional. 100% satisfied with final result. Have received many positive comments from friends and neighbors. Had one small tree and plant die in the first year and these were quickly replaced without additional cost. They will be doing some additional work for me in the coming season.

Always looks amazing. They give great advice on what to plant and where, and obtain very high quality plants for us. Weekly seasonal maintenance has been outstanding.

Amazing! I do not lie. Cars literally were stopping after the work was done and people actually got out to take photos. The crew spent several days. Unlike some companies that take their time or are inconsistent with their time, Greg's crew worked in very hot and sunny weather to transform the hill into an amazing sight. He has a few guys who have been with his family's company a long time and they really know their stuff. I have since had them back for regular maintanence for the hill. While it requires regular care to weed and trim, more then i expected, I am very satisfied. They did some simple hardscape as well and recommended a great irrigation company.

English Lane does a fabulous job with our landscaping and snow removal. Greg is quite responsive, and we've been pleased with all of our interactions with him. He has been especially accommodating to our requests about using (or not using) certain materials on our lawn since our young children play outside a lot. [And also to our son's request to leave his stick pile where it is! :)] I am impressed with the professionalism of Greg and every staff member of his with whom I've interacted. That says a lot! I'd recommend him without hesitation.
