Instead of a retaining wall, he advised me to repair the hill. After research, we chose the repair route. Then we patiently waited for five months for warmer and drier weather. Kevin never rushed me for the project. But when the project startedâ ¦ my gosh, it was a well-oiled machine, a BIG HONKING Caterpillar machine. Over the course of two weeks, Kevin and his team removed over 200 yards of fill and top soil, installed three gigantic underground french drains, repaired the water runoff pipes and then completely rebuilt/ regraded my hill, complete w/ grass seed and hatch. A true sight to behold. Throughout the whole process, Kevin remained a calming presence even when the work stopped for three days because of rain. In the end, we got our hill back!! Because of the poor weather conditions he had to call to adjust the work schedule but within five days he called and was on his way to do our work.
