"Mike arrived on time and began work immediately. He removed old wiring and installed all new wiring and conduit and repaired a few down spouts at the same time. He installed all new lights along the walkway, removed an outlet that was of no use and re-wired the entire front of the house including wall flood lights. Mike had to dig up flower beds etc. to accomplish his work and when he left you would not know he was ever there. He cleaned up the walkways and removed all trash. He kept in touch with me regarding progress. I have used them several times for non electrical issues also. Their communications system is top shelf. They always call back, confirm appointments and follow up on their work. All of their techs are professional, courteous and respectful of your property. I feel their prices are fair. "Our full view storm door needed the door handles replaced. We were unable to lock it. We put in a request thru Angi and Delmar Yellock of Designing Xpressions was the first contractor to respond. After discussion, he agreed to stop by the very next day. Upon arrival and after examining the door he found I had purchased the wrong parts. He fully explained what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. He visited a local store and purchased the correct parts. Despite spending twice as much time doing the repair he stuck with the original price quoted. I learned Del is actually a general contractor and does remodels and virtually any job inside the house. We will definitely be calling him back for future work. One last point: Del's price (including parts) was one sixth of prices quoted by others. This experiece almost makes me want to see something else need fixing! Great honest contractor!!!"

John does great work and has the experience and correct tools to properly sand the new spackle w out getting any drywall dust in the air. - He used a large specialty sanding disc w a shop vac connected to it. Which was a very fast and clean way to get the work done. - Credit should be given to any craftsman who invests in the right equipment for the job. As well as being able to do the drywall repairs AND paint. It's was not easy to find someone to do both. He supplied the paint. It was a perfect match using new paint made up w the old Sherman Williams color code. I would recommend hiring Dominic's Painting for any drywall repair, painting and/or skim coating."

"Mel completely remodeled our farmhouse from top to bottom, including all of the plumbing, electrical, flooring, insulation, drywall, windows, doors, HVAC and exterior siding. "Let me start by saying that my husband is the one who did the walk-through estimate with Joe. I wasn't there and I can't verify that my husband explained exactly what we were looking for. But I was under the impression that the wallpaper would be sealed and the walls repaired so that when they were painted over, you wouldn't be able to tell there was wallpaper in the first place. We got an estimate from another company and they were planning on skimming the walls several times to create the smooth surface. I was under the impression that this was what Joe and his guys were doing, too.
I was wrong.
When the office was completed you could see the stripes where the pieces of wallpaper met. I was very unhappy with this and told Joe. To his credit, he immediately offered to fix the walls. His guys skimmed over the seams and repainted. The result, though was that now there are bands of a different texture, so it's still noticeable. 
If you're not looking too closely, the rooms look great. But when you pay attention to the details, you see things like where the guys painted over chips in the window sill, instead of sanding them out or filling them or whatever. There's a very noticeable wallpaper seam in the bedroom. Some of the edging is uneven. When they cleaned on the final day, the guys left drips of charcoal paint on the bathroom threshold. These are things I expect when WE paint our house, not when we pay someone a big ol' chunk of money to paint it.
That said, I would work with this company again. The paint crew guys were super professional and polite. We couldn't be there every day and we felt secure leaving them in our house. One of the guys even walked our dog one day because he was antsy. That goes above and beyond. We tipped them well.
Joe installed the molding himself, and he did a beautiful job. We had the ceiling painted charcoal and brought the color down about five inches on the wall. Then there's the molding, and then the lavender color we used on the walls. It's really quite stunning.
I'd love to give the company an A, but I do feel like there was some attention to detail lacking. I will make sure that the next time I hire them or any other painter I have every little thing spelled out in the estimate, so there's no room for interpretation.
