So it is mix match shingles with the skylight replacement. They did not tell me until they finished. "This was a complex project involving removal of the ceiling to expose joists, establishing anchors on the joists, drilling through an external wall, and attaching a steel channel iron to the outside wall. With force applied to a long bolt attached to the joists, the external wall was pulled into place and the joists were re-inserted into their slots. The job was a success and the crew was pleasant and cleaned up thoroughly. "
"We contacted Home Crafters and Chris came out to give us an estimate on November 24th, which was the week of Thanksgiving. He promised us a contract and breakdown of costs by the following Monday by email. After reviewing and signing we agreed to have Home Crafters do the work and he said it would be at least two weeks for them to start the work as long as it was not raining. Much to our surprise, two roofers were sent to our home on that Thursday and they completed the work by Friday afternoon. Everything went extremely well and we would definitely contact them in the future if needed. (One thing to note is that we have seen the repairs via pictures but are unsure of whether or not it will leak since we haven't had rain.)
