"Bilevel home consisting of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and stairwell with landing. Removed popcorn ceiling, skim coated ceiling and painted 2 coats on ceiling, walls, doors and trim. Moved large pieces of furniture as necessary to complete work. Excellent communication. Coordinated job with homeowner. Protected house items such as carpets, floors, ductwork, kitchen cabinets, etc from debris dust and paint-splatter as necessary. I have worked with many contractors in the past and this was one of the best. Highly recommend and would hire again."

You can drywall an unheated garage because the material handles cold temperatures perfectly well. There are no risks or downsides to installing drywall in a garage that is not heated, and the material stands up to moisture and other elements quite well. Drywall will protect your unheated garage's electric wires and cables and add fire protection. However, for effective bonding, you should install drywall at a temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

There are several benefits to wet-sanding drywall, but the main perk is that it produces far less dust than dry-sanding. As a result, wet-sanding poses fewer health risks and makes less of a mess in your home. Plus, damp sponges are less abrasive than sandpaper, so there’s a smaller chance of scratching or damaging the drywall paper. Wet-sanding also creates a smoother finish than dry-sanding.

You can put drywall mud over paint to even out the surface or entirely resurface it. Ideally, you can find the studs behind the drywall and attach the mirror to them; this will give your mirror better stability. Otherwise, confirm that you are using anchors appropriate to the weight of the mirrors. Another technique is to use French cleats—two pieces of wood that fit together, with one piece attached to the wall and the other to the mirror. This allows the weight to be distributed over a wider area.

For maximum stability, install grab bars on wall studs, as this will adequately support the weight. However, if you don't have access to studs, you can get by with wall anchors. If opting for the latter, choose specialty hollow wall anchors.
