"My wife and I hired Gutter Guard Pros in some desperation. Our gutter cleaning needs were extensive (to say the least) after some neglect. Tons of debris had accumulated resulting in blocked downspouts and multiple water drainage issues. I couldn?t be happier that we called? -Quoting was quick -Communication was timely -The team was friendly and professional -Work was thorough and precise Our before and after photos tell the story. The gutters are clean and our water flow challenges are no more. My wife and I enthusiastically recommend Andy, Brad and the Gutter Guard Pros every chance we get. If you?re on the fence about your gutter professionals, look no further."

"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If you do end up with frozen gutters, it's important to thaw them correctly. Thawing your gutters slowly is far safer than trying to break apart the ice. Once you get through the ice, bring in a gutter professional to check out the effectiveness of your heated system.

On a typical three-bedroom home, gutter cleaning takes about one hour. For larger homes, especially those with multiple stories, the job can take two to three hours. The time required may increase if the gutters need extensive cleaning, the roof is steep, the gutters are hard to reach, or if gutter guards need to be uninstalled and reinstalled.

Regular cleaning, applying rust-resistant coatings, and checking for leaks help extend their lifespan.

Yes, there are several downsides to installing rain chains. For one, rain chains have a lower flow capacity than a typical gutter and downspout system. This means that if there is a rainstorm, the rain chain can stop working completely. Rain chains also cannot redirect rainwater away from your house. In homes with a sloped yard, this could cause water damage in your foundation or basement.

Clean regularly to prevent clogs, check for cracks, and ensure downspouts direct water away from the foundation.
