Hi, I’m Rocky — owner of RT Power Cleaning here in Altoona.\n\nAt 20 years old, I decided to take a leap and quit my job to build this business full-time. My goal isn’t just to clean houses — it’s to build something that can turn into a long-term family business.\n\nI care about quality, consistency, and treating your home with respect. When you hire RT Power, you’re supporting someone who’s working hard to create stability, opportunity, and something lasting for the future.\n\nThank you to everyone who has supported me so far. I’m just getting started.

"We had no idea what was wrong except that we saw water leaking in after a rain.  This was confusing because it was on the 1st floor and there was no leak on the 2nd floor windows immediately above.  Clarice is willing to tackle any home repair job.  She came out and determined that rainwater was hitting the deck and being splashed behind the siding.  She removed some of the siding, located the point of entry, and sealed it with a silicone calk of some kind.
Haven't had a problem since.

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Cleaning your windows not only improves your home’s curb appeal—and, therefore, property value—but it also prolongs the life of your windows. Clean windows make a big difference from the outside, so if you’re selling your home or plan on selling, window washing is an affordable way to make your home stand out. Additionally, cleaning the tracks and moving components in your window can help them last longer, potentially saving you money over time on window replacement costs and repair.

The best way to clean outside windows is by using a garden hose. Start by spraying the windows with a high-pressure stream to clear off loose dirt and grime. Then use a mixture of hot water and dish soap and scrub the windows with a sponge. Rinse off the soapy water with the hose. Before you finish up, spray the windows with a solution of vinegar and water and wipe them down with a microfiber cloth.

The best thing to clean windows with is a mixture of white vinegar, warm water, and dish soap. This will remove dirt, pollen, and grime without destroying any tints or protective films on your glass. You can also use a commercial window cleaner, but make sure to choose one that doesn’t have ammonia in it, as this can damage window coverings and frame materials over time.

Because the built-in blinds are encased in glass, they should not get dusty. You might, however, find that your door’s window panes get dirty. If that is the case and you wish to clean your patio door’s glass, first remove any loose debris with a small vacuum or brush. Next, fill a bucket with warm water and some mild dish soap. Dip a clean rag into the bucket and wet the glass on your patio door. Dry the glass with a clean microfiber cloth.

Unless it’s written into the purchase agreement, there’s no legal obligation that a house you’ve bought has to be clean before you move in. The previous owner is generally required to sweep the house, but that doesn’t guarantee everything will be spotless upon your arrival. If possible, discuss the cleaning requirements with the real estate company before moving in.
